How does Procalcitonin test compare to CRP and ESR. Would that improve specificity of diagnosis? Given that Procalcitonin level can be detected in serum after about 3-6 hours after the onset of inflammation and stay raised for 12-36 hours after recovery, when is a better time for the test

What about TGFb-1 ? My holistic doctor ordered it and it is significantly raised, I asked my western doctors about it they have no clue. Why is that? My TGFb-1 is 8000 the range supposed to be 300- 2400

We can be too quick with trying to bring down a pyrexia when it is part of the necessary immune response. When I was nursing I would think twice before giving paracetamol.

Foolish doctor, If there is an inflammation in the neurons it cannot be shown by testing CRP or any other markers, Even big back pain with tons of inflammation will not show any inflammatory markers.
The major issue is not inflammation in the joint or muscle, It is about organs with tiny inflammation that cause 100s of chronic illness with no medical treatment available today.
He is talking about NSAId( pain medication RX or over the counter ibuprofen)
If you take that regularly the risk of dying a sudden death can increase to 30% .
Does life style, nutrition and anti-oxidants helps ( not in the final stage) those should be implemented when you are a kid .
Just going vegan or eating fruits overnight is not going to solve the problem.
Inflammation in the lungs( COPD) super difficult to treat
Inflammation in the nerve hard to detect
Inflammation in nuerones or brain ( we may be able to treat that in 2050)
