I cannot wait to see her playing in November!! There’s a love and passion for bball in her words and an excitement about UConn. So thoughtful and mature as well. #8 Let’s Go!!
Aww shoutout to Stewie for reaching out and giving Jana so much love that’s so sweet and special
What a. Great young lady. Giving it all. She says. She instantly instills confidence. Her teammates must really love her.
I cannot wait to finally see her play. It's been a long time coming. She's going to be a fan favorite
I can see why Geno likes her so much. I do too. Really excited to see her play.
Please, basketball God's, let all the Uconn players remain healthy. I truly feel a fully healthy UCONN squad would have won the last 2 national championships, hands down.
Individual health is most important since it's for your whole life. Patience is a great thing to develop. But, it has to be patience to carry out a plan. I'm sure she has that and is working it and that will help her adapt to the UConn offensive system.
I could not wait for theseeeee summer availability!!!😭💙💙💙💙
Wait until fans see this kid play. Having watched every minute of her U19 play she has nearly every shot around the basket: she'll drop either leg, she has a nice up and under, the long step left or right, the fade away, the hook, and the power dribble put back. This is more than Liv had as a senior. She is a good foul shooter, she's a danger to the arc, and she can take her mark off the dribble from the elbow. She is ultra aggressive under the basket, and her U19 team had her bringing the ball up the court from under the other teams basket. She has this wide backyard that makes it easy to box out and power dribble her mark to the cup. She's reads the ball off the rim well and is a smart player on both ends. Unlike Edwards she cannot hedge above the foul line as well, she doesn't have the end to end speed say of Liv, and if she wants to be a threat beyond the arc like Stewie she'll need more work. She'll have to watch that aggressiveness to avoid foul trouble and she's going to have to work on her quickness and deception on her putback. But she can set some nasty screens and she has good quickness. The kid is a potential AA. Let's go Huskies!
Thanks for this report!
I can't wait for Jana to get on the court, she was a beast last summer before she got hurt. Now, when CD watches this video, she will lecture her on not chewing gum when giving an interview. That is a no no at UConn! 😁
Take your time,,, ready when you are JEA!! 🏀🏀
If she's healthy I think she's going to be a beast in the paint similar to Tina Charles and Rebecca lobo
I'm thinking by the way she is talking that she is willing to give it her all..Unlike DeBerry who never practice hard or gave it her best..I'm looking forward to her playing especially at her height. By what I heard before the injury she was the best player at the FIBA games averaging 21 pts until the injury. Hoping for the best..It will ONLY make Uconn much better along with Sara Strong..Go huskies..
Nika has always been my favorite interview but Jana is challenging her in my eyes.🙂
I agree, I think its how honest and real they are.
Jana has to wait and see and not try to do too much, she is the boss of herself, nobody else.
Take your time with this type of injury. It’s a long season upcoming.
Basketball 🏀
You can definitely see Jana's confidence knowing she'll be the primary post scoring player this season. She's not uncomfortable at all.
Really looking forward for another type A big who wants to mix it up.
Were excited to see u ball out girlypop🎉🎉🎉
So great on Stewie!
Shes giving mini Taurasi🎉🎉🎉
The goal is to win a national championship.
I agree chewing gum during an interview is a NO NO! Nika always chewed gum during a game. It's not an attractive trait and it's distracting. In the end, our players are public people. YES, they can chew gum when they're off camera, but she's a public person. I can't imagine Geno or Chris chewing gum during an interview.
Lady! Let them rock. You being negative Nancy is distracting. Their job is to talk about their sport you understood her fine.. right? Gum and all. You boomers are so unnecessarly judgey
