Exactly! The court ordered him to pay her monthly YEARS ago and he has run afoul of that order to the tune of $97k. He is lucky she hadn’t attempted to have him arrested or funds garnished a long time ago. Kandi’s money has nothing to do with him financially contributing to his child’s upbringing. And that money is owed to KANDI not Riley, if she chooses to give it to Riley that is her choice but Kandi has clearly being paying Block’s portion of Riley’s care her entire life, so he owes Kandi.

I absolutely agree with Noelle. I have no idea why people want any ol body at their weddings. If Noelle has only seen the man once then that means Cynthia has very little contact with him. If he was an abuser to the mom, why put the mom in that position. Cynthia hasn’t talked to the man in years. Why would it be a priority to do a dog and pony show at the wedding. Cynthia mom is jealous and mad of her in some ways. Because she wasn’t able to do the things she wanted to do because she had kids but Cynthia was able to accomplish all the business ventures she had. I didn’t like how Noel was able to say that when she has a relationship with her dad.
In Noelle defense she made a point to say Cynthia's father hasn't been around in years. While it is Cynthia's choice I don't see anything wrong with acknowledging how her abused mother feels about him especially if he wasn't really there as a father to begin with.

I disagree about your opinion of noelle when she voiced her opinion about her grandpa. It’s odd to me that we want abuse victims to brush off their feelings about being abused and their abuser. Abuse is traumatizing especially for women of her age- women from the 50’s and 60’s were raised to put up with abuse, not leave their husband and to just deal with it. Did y’all not hear the psa. Her mother is being bullied by their mutual friends for her experience. We forget the elderly were once young and dumb- poor decisions don’t get erased because you’ve aged. Black families do be knowing and a lot of them turn a blind eye

I completely agree with you about Ralph and Drew, I can't stand him at the moment and just skip through his scenes. Ralph clearly doesn't respect her and hasn't once shown any reciprocity towards her since the show aired. I have yet to see him patiently support her as she went off on him, but he can disappear for days and expect to give no explanation. It reminds me of the patriarchal mentality that women should sacrifice everything to please a man, while a man barely shows respect and the idea that a woman should be kept. Annoying.

There have been other times when I thought Noelle was speaking out if turn, but I didn't have any problems with this conversation. Cynthia could have spoken to her mother at any time about inviting her father; instead, she waited until Noelle is back in Atlanta and Cyntgia springs it on Noelle as they're en route to Granny's. She never asked/told Noelle to be a support for her - it was Noelle who put 2 + 2 together that she was being used as a shield, and she didn't seem to be on board. Since Cynthia brought her daughter into this conversation, I think it was just fine for Noelle to speak her piece.

It was interesting that Cynthia recalled the marriage license incident when she married Peter, which her mom and Mel, had a hand in, but she forgets the actual drama behind it, which is her families opinion. Notice, Mel, an original non supporter of Peter is this time supporting her sister, almost like a redemption. The mother, is now holding her grudge against the father over Cynthia's head. Cynthia can barely stand up for herself with the other wives, and the GUILT of family makes it that much easier for her to cave in. As soon as Noelle said she was basically over it and the mom should attend not the dad, Cynthia made her decision.
As far as the PSA issue, that was either a lie or a Post Phaedra situation where facts are never analyzed and then brushed aside to paint a negative narrative. There is no way the mom didn't know what the PSA was about. What probably happened is she got their and got emotional and was scared to do it, and they all consoled her and forced her to carry on. It makes perfect sense. Her being afraid to tell her story is the ESSENCE of the whole issue and the PSA. Her being on the verge of opening up at the shoot just made it more intense. So there is some truth in her claim, but Cynthia definitely told her what it was.
Noel was out of place, she knew her mother wanted to invite him....played it off as do w.e. But guilted her to the ground in front the grandmother. Speaking from the place of a child that is spoilt and has both parents active in their life

But for me always having my own mind, stubborn & understanding what makes since&don't out the wound far as my Mom go. I left home very early& from because of her I neva allowed nobody to control me. But for that I wouldn't have neva learned who I am,& where I get my love of God,mannerisms,prayers& Gifts from his mom who died when he was 12yrs. Old.So much of Me just like her. My son's personality, charismatic etc. Just like my Dad. I'm close with his sisters, my Aunts.My Dad, was never around, never outside of money I learned as a adult she got 💰 for us cause he was in the military, leave it to her he neva gave a dime.She hates this man.& neva wanted us as kid's to see him.She hated me cause I'm like him etc.Yet I saw him at 8, then maybe 32 that's it. He had many other kid's, I met twin sis by him. I said all that to say. Do what you feel, as long as it's not harming You& nobody else. Shortly before my Dad got dementia. For bout a yr or 2, we talked on the phone for hours. The wisdom from a place of love he gave me strengthed me,he gave me so much game.That benefits now. I could talk to him bout anything. My Dad & uncle from Harlem,I grew up in West Oakland the Bay. Summers with my Dads sisters,& family in Harlem, a huge Holy family known for thier gospel music & church that dates way back. He was neva around.Not even in the same state.& he waa stingy outside the military 💰 he neva gave us a dime. Real street type. I was with a dude with huge illegal money having family for years.. My Dad's wisdom that got me from that is priceless. My life & my boy's flourished. I'm a daddy's girl. He uped me on so much game. It's a blessing to know the whole you. He saved my life persay. He's well taken care of now.by my favorite Aunt. I learned my holiness come from my grandMothers Mothers Holiness & the love of our Lord Christ Gesus prayers. That's so powerful.& my Dad was awful & beat my mom. She was 15 had 2 babies that died had me at 17. Left him When I was a baby& still bitter& hates that man today. But my GrandDad& Aunts loved & helped my mom.&my grDad, my Dads Dad pulled a shotgun on my dad tryna take us, till my mom got on her feet.My Mom married again when I was 5 he was the best stepdad eva Then married again when I was 13. & I still can't talk bout my dad to her. My mom is very successful but bitter.We grew up well. But man I would love to be able to pick up the phone & talk to him.Dementia blocked all that. I 🙏 this helps somebody.
And you know what’s crazy !!?? Riley daddy probably felt like she didn’t need him due to Kandi being rich and that’s probably why he was there for his other children because their mothers probably weren’t better off
