I find the abuses our mainly in the WOF circles but not saying other circles don't have issues.

At the 44min mark I have NO idea who the "we" is that Jack speaks of. Two points on that. First, "we" as a society DO give some folks the Death Penalty for a Capital Offense, and 2) just because we don't for others doesn't mean we shouldn't. There is not a single thing in Scripture that prohibit the Death Penalty for an of the offenses that God required such for. MAYBE "Pastor" Jack would spend a little time in the prophets and see what God had to say about those who taught falsely and told the people they could disobey God without consequences. I think it is Jeremiah an Ezekiel where that comes out the strongest.
I always enjoy listening to Sam and he always makes some really thought-provoking and often astute observations but I'm not so sure he has the "reason why" correct when it comes Deu. 18. Verse 20 seems to indicate otherwise. I would not say Excommunication is the answer but Church Discipline certainly and and contrary to what the two say I would say they should NEVER be given the floor to prophesy again. God allowed one to be wrong ONCE. There was NO second chance and I see nothing in Scripture that says that changed under the New Covenant.
I agree that the False Teacher and False Prophet monikers get blown outta proportion and way over used BUT if "Pastor" Jack doesn't think showing NO fear of God whatsoever and speaking falsely for Him isn't arrogance then what is? Speaking of Revelation and Eschatology, that's a good example. Three of the four views are wrong and are a false teaching but that doesn't mean the one's who hold the false view are False Teachers. HOWEVER, I submit that when one speaks falsely for God they ARE a "false prophet". Small "P". MAYBE if there was a Death Penalty today for speaking falsely for God folks would be MUCH less inclined to say "God says...", "the Bible says", "Jesus said", etc.
