Your silkies are so beautiful! 😊 I haven't bathed my youngsters yet but the rescues have had epsom salt (mg) baths & blo dry- they also became calm after a few minutes (although they hate water!) I find they are mostly self-cleaning in sand/dirt 🤣 but sometimes we need to give them a helping hand - love how you're teaching the next gen 👍subbed
I want to get silkies but my dad says no at least my moms said yes do you know anything I can say to convince them. Also do they get lonely like can you keep 1 or do you need at least 2
I always washed them when they were little because they get poop stuck on there butt. You just have to hold them in your hand & be careful to not get water on their beak.

Yes you can Bathe your silkie. Just make sure it’s head doesn’t get under the water.

If you tell your dad that he will do extra chores around the house to have a couple silkies he might go for it. Yes I would say you have to have two

Yes, but silkies are different from other chickens. They need bathing in summer time, since they can have poop and dirt build up.
