This kit is massive ! I am building a JAS Gripen and at 1:48 it is only the size of a 1:72 F-18 Super Hornet ! Brilliant paint job, love the aubergine and blue . Wales UK.

Nice work, On the canopy have you tried Alclad gold? It’s very fine and if you thin it and apply a light coat then back it immediately with clear lacquer it looks amazing. The goal is to not allow the flakes to lie down flat. It will resemble the gold film in canopies for sure. I’ve tried this on a 1/8 F-16 canopy and in the sun the highlight is perfect but in shade it’s till clear.

I saw that you combined decals from the kit with Begemot ones...but from others that built it I have mixed opinions, ones said that kit decals were ok, others said that they were to thick and got problems with silvering...

Ok, thanks. I got a couple of car 1/32 scale. I’ll get that spray and practice on that. Thanks for getting back to me. Appreciate it. I broke my back a few yrs ago playing rugby. I had a fall a couple of weeks ago and slipped 4 discs and shaved a bit of arthritis off it that’s grown over the break site. Need this to stop me feeling like a loser. Daytime tv can only do one thing,involving Jack Daniels and pain killers. Don’t want to do that so this is my choice. Anyway. Thanks sir for the hints. Look forward to some more tutorials from you soon. 😎
