Amtrak Dash-8 503 leads a Pacific Surfliner in 2023!! Railfanning Moorpark 11/11-11/12/23

Thought it would never happen again, and it does. Amtrak 503 was tasked to rescue a broken down #769, which the charger was having HEP issues with. There are also some other trains that I saw thrown in.

Say what you want about the old Trash-8s, but the fact that 503 is back plying the same rails she did in the 90s doing the same work she was built to is a real testament of the beast she really is. Rock on 503, keep on surfin'!
