So you need a helmet, and a Bluetooth communicator. Why buy both separately when the two were destined to be together all along? Full Bluetooth integration means no modules or batteries stuck to the outside of the helmet. Also, there’s no wiring involved. Just put the helmet on and connect! The Momentum gets the full suite, where the Momentum Lite keeps it simple with just the stuff you need. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
I bought this helmet. My head measured 59in. 59-60 calls for a large helmet which is what I got. VERY tight when I first put it on. My ears stay folded down a bit and I thought must be too tight. Then watched a lot of videos and I know it will break in by about 15% so decided to keep it and see. I've been wearing around the house a bit and within the first 30 min of wear, it feels a little better. Ears don't stay folded down but they do touch the speaker covering. Still hope and expect it to loosen up a bit more. Super nice helmet and it unexpectedly came with the pinlock 120 Anti-Fog insert. Pretty easy to install after watching a youtube vid and seems to work. Thanks RevZilla!
Thank you for this helmet review! Good made! I'd love to buy this helmet, but I don't understand why they don't integrate a sun visor?! That's a no-go for my new helmet...
You can change out the cheek pads for different fits. I have a large cheekpad in an XXL helmet
Great review as always. I'm very excited about the though of having an all in one helmet with bluetooth AND an action camera which would make what I do for a living a lot more fun. Do you guys have a release date on the Momentum Pro with Action camera?
We don't have a specific date from Sena for the Pro with Camera version yet. -DrewZilla
The amount of "ultimately" in this video rivals the inventory of helmet by Revzilla.
This looks fantastic could you recommend a helmet that has cameras and maybe HUD
I would like to have one but all seems to be out of stock. Why there is no internal sun visor for this price??
So there's no positive detent position to keep the shield cracked open for those soggy days when pinlock doesn't cut it? Or when it's blazing hot out and you want just a little bit of ariflow??
how I wonder how much video time you would have with the pro version...
I feel like they did electronics first helmet second
Great review as always but I think for a lot of us the singular attraction and anticipation of this lid was the noise reduction capabilities. For me that’s probably the biggest reason and largest leap in technology this helmet was dangling as bait. Really, really downplayed here. I wonder why?
the noise cancellation one is going to be released. they're saying q1 2018 for release
I believe you may be thinking of the Momentum INC (Intelligent Noise-Control) Helmet that has not yet been released. That is a step up from this standard Momentum Helmet and is still in development. I know it's a bit confusing with their naming. Hope this helps! -DrewZilla
EDIT: I just read the story about how Revzilla started in, I think, Motorcycle Consumer News magazine. Anthony, Matt and Nick, you guys are superstars. I'm a tech too but not worth of carrying your helmet bag. So impressed by everything you've done and how you've done it so I will NEVER bag on your video intros again. :D Just thought I'd leave it there below so people know what I'm apologizing about.
Uh, nothing personal but I can't stand the first 15 seconds of EVERY ONE OF REVZILLA'S VIDEOS. Seriously, we don't need to hear that catch phrase anymore nor little video. Seriously. I will add that you guys do otherwise set the bar for gear reviews.
DUDE, it's not at all unreasonable for me to suggest to Revzilla that they don't need to keep saying that crap in EVERY video. Like we don't know?
Question. Can I pair this helmet to another helmet and to my phone or harley infotainment or all 3, I basically want to talk to another rider and be able to take calls and get gps turn by turn through the harley
This is the first actual review I've seen on this outside of sena promo, my question is have you actually shipped any of these, other outlets like cycle gear have the "no stock" banner on their website...I'm just wondering when we can get our hands on these. Thanks for the info.
We expect stock in early-March. -DrewZilla
Is the evo better. Does the shield lock in mor places on the evo? Slow down dude I’m old lol
Antony, the logo's not in the upper corner anymore!
I believe bilt has integrated units as well
True with Sena as the technology - another partnership -Alyssa
Do you recommend wearing earplugs on this helmet and the INC version.
Yes, we still recommend wearing earplugs for both versions. -DrewZilla
Needs better ventilation and pin lock
Do you know when the Momentum INC Pro is coming out, with the integrated camera?
Q1 2018
Jason Weems q1 ends after March, so it's probably delayed as usual. Although it shouldn't be long because the sena website for the momentum inc has now gone from 'coming soon' to 'buy now' (can't actually buy now yet though). This is what happened with the normal momentum helmet about a month before that came out
So I just got the pinlock lens for this and it doesn't open well. I have to pry the visor open because the pinlock lens is hitting the helmet seal. Any advice?
It might help us if we had some photos. I recommend sending an email to cs@revzilla.com with a photo and a description of the issue, and a Gear Geek will be happy to try to troubleshoot. You might want to troubleshoot with Sena as well. -DrewZilla
What about the potential that a bad battery can exploded in the helmets casing? Is the Rider protected? Can it below my head off?
The batteries are very safe and risk is very very low. -DrewZilla
Will SENA or have they made a AU/NZ Standards Version and also will there be a MESH Version if not already?
We do not know if Sena has made an AU/NZ Standards version at this point, as they do not list it on their Australian site. As for mesh, there is not a mesh version. I assume they'll make that at some point in the future, but I would not expect it anytime soon. -DrewZilla
Is there going to be a modular integrated helmet from Sena?
Probably not anytime soon, but they might make a modular in the future. For now, the best option would be to get one of the modular helmets for which Sena has designed an integrated communicator. See below for the options. -DrewZilla

What about glasses dies it have a groove for the ear pieces on the glasses or just squeeze them in and get a headache from the pressure?
It does not have specific channels for glasses, unfortunately, but if your frames sit close to the side of your head, you may be able to wear them comfortably. -DrewZilla
I bought this helmet and wear glasses and have no problem wearing them with this helmet. Even my Harly sunglasses work. If you go to your local Harly shop they have that same helmet but with the Harly logo on it .
Not once did you mention how the speakers sound playing music and riding! All other rev"s same thing, no mention of sound quality. So keep my Klips earbuds or fork out for this helmet?
Unless you want the ability to be wireless, answer phone calls, and/or talk with other riders, you'd probably be fine sticking with your earbuds. The sound quality is good but not studio quality. -DrewZilla
About the weight...
You compare the Sena Momentum with the weight of another helmet without communication system
I wonder how much difference, once the "regular" helmet has a communication system installed
A communicator can add 4-6 ounces to the weight of the helmet. -DrewZilla
Why LS2? Disappointed because I was looking forward to the momentum inc
The Momentum Helmet line is designed entirely by Sena, without using a previous helmet shell or parts. However, being that safety is key the helmet is manufactured by one of the largest OEM manufactures producing most name brand helmets in the market (from some Harley helmets, Bell, LS2, Sedic and more). Giving riders proven safety custom built around Sena’s technology. This is not a previous helmet design as the technology has to fit differently. It is DOT and ECE. -Alyssa
Im sold... but I can't stand wearing sunglasses in my helmet. so I need a smoked or a tinted visor. Do they offer different visor?
Currently no, but we're hoping they do have tinted visors soon. -DrewZilla
K... Ill wait til they do! thanks
Here it is! -DrewZilla

Sorry to correct but it's $600 not 2-300.
Anyone advise what it's like in the rain, visor leak, wind noise.
Well the biggest Q is . Can it be paired with other Bluetooth devices like other manufactures BT com units?
Yes, with its universal intercom pairing function, you can pair it with a communicator from another brand. -DrewZilla
Anthony is as great as the slap chop guy, Vince.
Are you gettin' this, camera guy?!
Can the speakers be changed / upgraded or ear buds plugged in?
No, the speakers cannot be changed, nor can ear buds be used either. -DrewZilla
Is possible to pair with other riders who use different brand of bluetooth?
Yes, the Momentum has universal intercom pairing for cross-brand pairing. -DrewZilla
Can I get this in India
how is the sound quality for phone calls while riding?
The sound quality for calls is actually quite good. -DrewZilla
If the integrated system fails....can you add a separate system
Technically yeah you can, you would just need to remove the existing unit and pieces from the inside of the helmet. You would be in DIY territory there modifying the helmet, but a clamp/adhesive mount would be able to work on the outside of the shell if the need came up.
who makes the helmet for Sena?....
Sena

I'd rather get a unit i can swap between helmets and be able to buy a better fitting economical helmet.
Make an adv style one and I’m sold.
Is Sena the manufactors of these helmets?
Sena designed the helmet, and it is manufactured by a company known in the industry for its work with a lot of OEMs. -DrewZilla
ok..Thanks for that info.
why cant you put the buttons on the right side of the helmet? i would prefer it that way
Generally the right hand is always controlling the throttle, so communicators are generally designed to be controlled with the left hand. -DrewZilla
How is the sound quality on this?
Sound quality is pretty good, but of course, don't expect studio quality. -DrewZilla
Are other colors available?
They're available in matte black and gloss white. That's it for now. -DrewZilla

Every reviewer that reviews this helmet doesn’t make a call with the helmet.
Is this made by Sena or is just a re-branded helmet?
John Jacob i think it made by LS2.
Well, thank you both for the answer.

Sena when is the pro going to be able to be purchased? I want to buy one now
How can I share music from 20s Evo to 30k
While in intercom mode and listening to music, you should be able to hold the jog dial for 1 full second to begin music sharing. -DrewZilla
How is the sound quality compared to the 30K?
It provides similar sound quality to the 30K. -DrewZilla
I had no idea about this! I just spent 500 on a shoei rf1200 I think I would have rather bought this!
dotdotgoal no you shouldn’t have.
You say Sena incorrectly
I know what you mean. I can't stand the way he says Sena instead of saying Sena.
This wasn't a good "review". It basically tells you the features and points out some obvious stuff. I bought this and am not very happy with the product. If I am riding solo, no big problems. Only thing I can't figure out is how to turn voice activation off. When you are listening to Pandora and singing along, it keeps thinking you are trying to connect to other riders. Very annoying. If I am using the intercom feature, its pretty good rider to rider... until... you add the music streaming. All voice over the music becomes very crappy!
Stop giving cocaine to this guy!
*pre-workout
can I wear prescription eyeglasses
It's not great for prescription eyeglasses, but most glasses can still fit ok. -DrewZilla
Slow down dude. Ben Shapiro can't even keep up.
yep, but shapiro hasn't been on TV for more than a decade and everyone still remembers THE HAMMER'S number.
I used to work with someone who spoke even faster, would swear it was coming out backwards lol
Never heard someone speak so fast before.
Shame its a bit Fugly, and not 30k for all that cash.
that helmet looks mad tiny, no way my watermelon is getting in there.
Like most helmets, it's available up to size 2XL. -DrewZilla
RevZilla nice!
Yep!
Garbage lid unless it’s SNELL rated. You only get 1 brain. Increase your success potential with going with SNELL. Now that rant is over, what Sena needs to do is integrate Bluetooth technology into one of the Arai, Shoei and Bell SNELL rated full face helmets and watch Bluetooth products sell out quickly.
Perhaps you might be interested in the Sena 10U for Arai. It integrates and has a small controller that mounts on the bottom edge of the helmet. -DrewZilla
*www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/sena-10u-bluetooth-headset-for-arai-full-face-helmets
how do non snell rated helmets automatically mean garbage lid? snell is for racing which also means a HARDER helmet, unless you plan on being at the track and eating shit and tumbling at like 90mph on track then its not necessary. if youre gona be on the street, chances are you are going to be in a low speed accident and a softer shell will give more and absorb more impact than a snell rated helmet. seeing how comms are used for street riding your whole argument is garbage
Ride I 95 in south Florida. It's 65 to 85 most the time.
MonstaFreak13 that dude is one of those that jacks off SNELL like he’s paying for it. SNELL is great albeit overrated.
DOT is not a selling point.
I won't even buy a helmet that's not dot......so your comment don't make sense
this is like iPhone X. 1st generation beta product
Too much coffee
Noisey AF
What’s wrong with this dude
My god, what a horrible speaker. 43 seconds - than I was gone.
Bro... Ditch the graphic T-shirt. That's like 2008 style.
He can't. It's surgically attached. -DrewZilla
SENA not SEENA. Watch their own channel to understand how to pronounce it correctly.
Paul Jones Who cares tomato tomoto same thing dude
한국사람이 보기엔 너무 답답한 영상
Unless you are getting paid by how quickly you do your video...You talk wayyyyyy too fast...It's a review!! I am supposed to hear and understand your words!!....Sheesh!!
This guy is the worst. He's more interested in his own persona than effectively communicating with consumers. Bleh.
Why you talk so fast? You know out there English is not the all people language? i am trying to focus what you say and not on the review. for God sake slow it down dude!
