    Many thanks for sharing that amazing video. I just finished your Roubo bench with beams my wife and I reclaimed from a barn we tore down. Feeling inspired once again in South Eastern New Hampshire.

    I guess he didn't think about shrinkage of the handle or his waste. Both might be a problem in the future.

    I think you guys need to add more panning shots to the video. 5 minutes 49 seconds of video, and the camera wasn't panning for 1 minute 4 seconds of it (I timed it). And in the 1:04 that the camera wasn't panning, it was doing a hard focus fade in.

      Yet, the production value is higher than most of what's on youtube, and even though someone made more efforts to do "stylish" and "pretty" than anything else (or had just bought a slider), it's still crystal clear as a tutorial!

    Beautiful craftsmanship! But why the let down in the end where he couldn't even be bothered to clean up the saw dust and shavings before wrapping up the tools?

    Very nice video :) A wooden foot-powered lathe would have been even more pleasing. Hole punches would have wasted less leather and simplified making the leather washers (good, cheap big set of punches £13 on ebay). Do the leather washers actually do anything - with a solid wooden code?
