The escape would've never happened, but of course all that build up would've been boring
He would have been killed because then michael has nothing to lose
I kind of wish the end of season four would’ve been pope receiving a letter and it would’ve been tickets to see the Taj Mahal when they were doing the montage of everybody. just have his story end with him laughing and smiling.

You do have to suspend disbelief when it comes to this sorta stuff, HOWEVER, it is later revealed that Michael is in fact an actual genius. Like his IQ is off the charts.
