Noah Chomsky summarizes the arguments for diplomacy in best ways from all I know (apart from ethical, religious arguments). As only few are doing, he connects the disastrous effects on the civilians of several countries, if we do not make a serious step towards negotiations, followed by other steps, to the terrible effects on the already threatening climate emergence.

ich habe schon in anderen kanälen automatisierte deutsche untertitel zu verfügung gestellt bekommen.das ist hier leider nicht der fall..mir werden nur englische automatisierte untertitel angezeigt.woran liegt das?

Der Schurkenstaat USA hat doch mit den Taliban schurken über seine beschämende Niederlage in Afganistan verhandelt jetzt liegt da alles in Schutt und Asche,jetzt ist die UA dran da sehe ich Schwartz für uns und Geschäfte mit den Saudis die schlimmer sind als die Taliban können die Schurken in Weißen Haus und Pentagon auch also wenn die USA mit den Schurken verhandelt dann sind die Schurken unter sich..wo ist das Problem?
Noam has repeatedly shown he has no clue about the real world, he is at the top of his field, linguistics, but that’s it. He is convinced he is an expert on history politics and warfare, he is not.

I am afraid Professor is speaking from too a different perspective and is outside the ukrainian discourse. the omniscient distant approach is impotent here
