I was not hurt during the filming of this video. Yes, I am married and if you noticed no hands touched my body as my shirt was torn to bits. Thanks for tuning in. Couple more things: 1. GT is still one of the most passionate and competitive athletes I know. Don't confuse that with him being a bad sport when he loses. He is a true competitor. 2. The man hot pants? When and if you come to Brazil, I encourage you to wear them at least once on the beach. It'll change your outlook on life!

Competition involves doing what you can in 30 minutes heat. Best way to see who is good or not is during a free surf session. Competition involves not only doing your best but also being smart and using your brain and not only your body. A true competitor uses both. GT uses both.
Those pants are called SUNGAS sounds like SOONGAH ! This is a cultural thing guys. We all used to wear surf shorts ONLY, until the early 90s. When Ultimate Fighting competitions started it was called VALE TUDO. Fighters wearing those sungas started to take them to a different level, wearing them on the beach. Since this type of pants value a mans body, specially the legs , it became popular among bodybuilders, fighters and any guy with a nice body. Women love so the rest is the history !
