- On the eve of the Wallabies vs All Blacks 2015 Rugby World Cup final, All Blacks supporters rallied for their team deep in Wallaby territory.
Flash mob haka was performed in Mosley Square, Adelaide, South Australia.
Incredible, I'm not Maori, but the Haka gives me chills everytime.
It sure does 😍
Same
I love the Haka. How can anyone Not?
I am so proud to be Maori rn lmao
Ever done one, I love doing the haka👍👍
I wonder how many people shat there dacks and did the bolt when that first guy started yelling
I hear that I hit the ground waiting for gun fire.
majooismajor I was there yesterday with my son 17 months old. I hv to say it is really scary.
This happens every Friday. It's not so much a traditional haka as a celebration of $9.99 prawns and chips at The Grand.
Idk I live in Adelaide and sometimes you just get nutters yelling in the streets. Everyone sort of minds their own business and walks away so
I'm Scottish and this made me feel emotional, just like the sound of Bagpipes... RESPECT 👍
Had a few of the people worried at the start lol
No. Just your wannabe imagination.
Maybe some kids......doesn't matter this is still the most amazing thing ever!
U guys acting like he ment it rudely. He's talking about the funny reaction of the little kids n lady. It is a FLASHMOB btw cuz I'd get jumped to if I heard a strong voice like dating come up from behind. N I ain't a wannabe. Say sometin'.
@Edward Vaughn It's only incoherent bellowing to those of us don't understand the language and culture. If your part of the culture than you understand that this is a chant they would use before battle to "put the fear into" their enemies. I'm not a part of the culture, but I have done some research. No hate, just education.
Oh don't worry random people screaming their heads off in Glenelg is nothing new.
Kobe Bryant’s jersey... It’s still respect even now with the Haka.
Poor Kobe got slam dunked by a Chopper. How ironic.
It’s a singlet not a jersey just letting you know
It was 2015
Symbology ....sacrifice ...wakey wakey
Koby....what a joke
There's something about the energy of The Haka that brings me to tears - every single time!
Good on them!! Never lose your culture. 😊
@Mike OZ Shirley you can't be serious?
@ThatBadGuy what culture could you possibly have? Christianity killed off a lot of great art and music and killed off paganism as well, then captialism/communism killed what was left. Whatever you are connected to these days, it is barely more than made up and can't be up there with Polynesian culture.
ThatBadGuy Ignorance.
They lost their culture when they gave up the last of their blood. There are no Maori left. Only the angry half breed after birth.
@@charisma1015 just like super saiyans, beware the half breed
this happened in a shopping center when I was five and i am still terrified.
•_•
Lol
😆😆😆
Then even today you behave childishly according to them. Little boy. You will never be a true warrior! My youngest son was also 5 years old at the time and he was completely there for it, he also tried to imitate it, now he understands Maori well and blows it from the outside. This is the kind of warrior spirit that permeates the boy and makes him a man. He who doesn't run away even if he really has to fight, is no use to my mother's soldier, who also goes into the mouse hole. This world understands from the word of the fist, not from the outstretched arms. Wolves are successful hunters. Why? Because they hunt in groups - packs, and there is order and respect for superiors. He who is not a member of the pack and who does not figuratively become a wolf himself will not stay on his feet.
If you start to feel chills down your spine that is the bad spirits leaving your body
Watching this never gets old for me - instant tears. What an amazing way to keep their culture alive and strong!
Tears...erytime🤙😊
I think of Whale Rider
I only just discovered Haka this year and I
"got it" right away.
I love watching it too.
There's one I really like with New Zealand Men's Basketball team is doing their Haka before a game and it's against our USA team.
The look on our guy's faces is priceless.
Lol I watch it all the time.

@Alxis phlps can you translate , what do they say in those war cries / chants during haka ? Thanks .
You can dude
@@meh...9500 isn't it disrespectful if suddenly people in other countries would start doing the haka. I mean I would love to embrace the haka here in germany but don't want to disrespect a culture.
SA gal here, Ive watched this so many times over past few years. Incrediably moving & powerful. I so wish I could have seen this haka in person. Sensational! Love the kiwis ❤
I have watched many documentaries on many cultures from art to dancing to singing etc...but that bloody HAKA just takes it to the next level. Loving it... from Australia 💚
The chills I get from Haka is second to only the feeling I get when I’m the presence of God. Long live the culture! Much love from Africa
Bellissimo. Il mio rispetto a questa gente che ha nel sangue e non ha perso le proprie radici usi e costumi. Ormai noi abbiamo dimenticato da dove veniamo e chi erano i nostri padri
This is amazing new Zealanders came together in SA flash mob to perform traditional haka. Little scary but respect their dedication and courage to do haka in public place. 🙏❤
More heart and soul in this Haka than any other ive watched on CZcams
Every time I hear the first cries of a haka, I get the chills. I feel the passion, the air is electrified with their cries. I’d like to be part of the next one. ❤️💕💖
Thats awesome, now do it down Rundle Mall, the Echo would be intense!
Yes! This!
Why is Haka always so epic!? I am like "ok one has to suck" but no! every single one is goose bumps!

I'm not remotely Maori - look at my name, each and every single haka I see I cry my eyes out bawling like a baby
Don't worry. I do too! I can't really say why. It's something primal, perhaps.

Beautiful.
Love u all.
The Haka is so powerful!
Интересно... Американские вояки долго продержатся против этих парней? От их мощи эмоции бьют через край. Красиво!
Да легко! К окончанию своего ритуала,они свалятся без сил и их можно спокойно добивать даже палками.
Thanks guy has braverey
Can anyone translate those first lines before the haka starts? I really want to know what tehyre saying
