So in etwa würde ich das auch gerne hinbekommen. 😊 Ich fänds generell cool, wenn du deine Covers danach in so einer Art Tutorial oder Analyse erklären könntest, das wäre enorm hilfreich. Show must go on und und Man in the Box zum Beispiel versuche ich auch seit Jahren, scheitere aber an vielen Stellen und krieg das nicht so kontrolliert hin wie du. Auf jeden Fall wieder ein eindrucksvolles Video!
Vielleicht kann ich das mal in einem Live-Stream durchgehen, wenn alle Cover draußen sind (sieht momentan aus, als wäre das eine endliche Serie). In diesem hier benutze ich Hyper-Compressed Screams :)

Even though this music genre is not my cup of tea at all, I think you are so good it's meshuggah! ;-) But I'm wondering about that poster on the top left of your wall, with all the vocal effects... Where can I get myself one?
Sadly, the "Vocal Effects Roadmap" metal plate isn't purchasable (yet), I just made it with my colleague Marko Osterholz. We're gonna do a live stream soon though where we explain the system a bit and probably you're gonna see it in bigger resolution there :) the other posters (anatomy of the larynx and musculature) are available on Etsy though.
I think if I pushed more into this technique, the arytenoids would contribute, but in this particular take, I think it's mostly true folds (creaking/fry) and false folds (distortion). That being said, I do hear a bit of arytenoid stuff in Jens Kidman, especially his later recordings!

This is the closest I’ve heard someone get to Jens’ tone. Is there any arytenoid action in this sound?
