I love watching the story behind the scenes, regardless of how I feel about the finished product. Thank you for releasing these! I really hope that future Resistance Featurettes will have more behind the scenes content.
Wow, people will really stop at nothing to hate on this series. Filoni is the creator of the show, akin to George on TCW. Everything gets approved by him. And the idea that this is somehow any more of a commercial for the show than the behind-the-scenes content for Mando is just total bullshit. You don't need to love or like the show, but man, some people will just hate at every possible moment and it's so tiring to see all the fucking time.
The Disney era features and behind the scene stuff feel more like advertisements unlike the ones for the prequels where we see the film making process. I would say the exception is Mando S1 behind the scenes

I happen to remember there being a very long documentary (not on your channel but you do post clips from it) about the prequel trilogy which has now been taken down by CZcams. I cannot find it absolutely anywhere but am desperately searching for a very brief moment in it in which it shows Ian McDiarmid as the emperor standing on a blue screen, mean to be the medical facility Vader is rebuilt in and saying “Awaken him”. If you could by any chance help me by finding it and sending the clip over, I’d be endlessly grateful, thank you!

It’s towards the end of one of those documentaries, around the time where it focuses on the Vader deformation design stuff or the empire and so on.

Yeah everything they said in this was essentially a lie. It ended on a shitty low note where they saved their friend and then just sit in a bar. None of this show affects anything in the story. It doesn’t add anything to Star Wars, it doesn’t change the story. There is nothing meaningful in the whole show. I watched the whole show, it was a waste of time.
This is just an advertisement. Theres no passion in developing star wars anymore because people don't get to make great stories. They are held back by agenda or w/e the hell kathleen kennedy's plan to destroy star wars has been.
@@hausofdavid_ I'm guessing you haven't seen any old "making of" documentaries. All they are doing is literally recounting the actual story and telling us how great it is lol.
@@ItsAnIsaac Kathleen kennedy was not involved in either of those projects. Mando literally went against the trilogy (lukes no longer a loser). Clone wars season 7 is a continuation from before Disney even owned star wars lol. Everything Kathleen Kennedy is involved in is always agenda-driven and uninspired. Look at the high republic stuff for example.

I like the show, but it wasn't good enough to justify the damage that kathleen kennedy's involvement has caused. KK was installed to Lucasfilm because of George Lucas' deal with Disney (they were friends). She was to uphold his vision and respect his legacy characters. The second she got in power, she turned her back on him and his vision/ideas completely and did the exact opposite, destroying the legacy characters to install her agenda-driven ones instead. She also is the one who pushed the whole "the force is female" garbage. Why would anyone even gender the force for any other reason than to push an agenda?

Yeah he’s great and he actually did work on this he directed and wrote The first episode and is the creator of the show
Supposedly he was not as involved with it as he was with the other shows. Because he went to work on The Mandalorian.
That was a weirdly cut and dry summary. Wish they said more about the creative process and why they wanted to make Resistance.
For all of it's flaws, I really enjoyed Resistance. I'm very disappointed that we'll probably never see a third season.
I know they still need to tie in with Rise of Skywalker
