Great video my man! I've been watching many videos trying to figure out the direction the inner seal needs to be put in. Your video is the only one I found that clearly explained it. The service manual doesn't even mention it. Thanks again!

when i bought my yfz the dude said it needed a water pump shaft and seals cause it was leaking when you would start it, replaced it and the same thing, turned out being the guy never jetted it after getting big bore kit and head ported, and it was heating the coolant in the motor so fast it was boiling it and it was pushing coolant out the water pump hole, so if anyone watches this video and it doesnt fix it, check that lol

Damn i better check that. I bought a YFZ450 that has coolant in the oil. The bike has a stroker kit and stage 1 cams. He did say the exhaust header glows red at times

@michaelcalderon4401 I promise you it's probably what I had happen to me. I rebuilt my water pump 3 times and it kept doing it. I jetted my carb and tuned it right, and it stopped immediately

@benny8300 yeah might be a good idea the quad was sold not to long after I did the video so not sure if they had any problems with leaks later seemed like a decent kit but u roll the dice with ebay
