Rainbow High was the only doll line I collected, and since the decline in quality, I don't collect anything anymore. 🤷🏼♀️ The newer facial screenings are very pretty, but there's no way I'm rebodying.
Honestly, given how hard their heads are, as well as the standard neck pegs breaking if you breathe on tnem incorrectly. I'm afraid to alter a Rainbow/Shadow high doll.
@@acaciaevans4185 I've removed several RH heads since I've done some customizing, and you have to heat the vinyl for a good five minutes before attempting removal, but it can be done.
Someone please pray for us Rainbow High girlies, we're in mourning and MGA keeps jumping in the casket and curb stomping the corpse in front of us...

I wished I liked rainbow high. I know what it would feel like if my favorite doll like was being mistreated. I just can’t relate to the joy people have for those dolls.

Honestly if Chelsea from Barbie was introduced like these are nowadays she would be flopped too with minimal articulation and and molded on or hard plastic clothing. Chelsea is truthfully grandfathered in as she started way back when they had fully fabric removable clothes as Kelly/ Shelly.
The RH winter wonderland dolls fashion, all I see is lots and lots of future landfill.

Is it me or the rainbow high littles face oddly... mature? like, put them next to the normal dolls and the littles faces look more like adults and the normal girls look more like children.
I see what you mean, like the eyes seem more narrow which is the opposite of how stylized kids designs usually go so it feels odd

Apparently (this is not my direct experience, just somebody else's picture that I saw) the paint for the screenings on the Rainbow High Littles is also poorly sealed and tends to chip off, e.g. after a boil wash... ew!!!

It looks like the slime is injected into the skirt and jacket? How does it come out later? Can it? Maybe the slime pouches can be cut out or something...

Unfortunately I think welcome committee Frankie got pushed back and delayed until 2025 and may be canceled.. ☹️ although it’s still up in the air if they’re going to release at all or not..
Yeah that’s what I’ve been hearing…so weird since they obviously got far enough into production to make stock photos. Hopefully they still come out at some point
the RH littles all have plastic tops that are SEWN to the skirts but are removable in one piece

the rainbow high winter line reminds me of one of those pictures where it looks normal at first glance but the longer you look the worse they get. they just look so strange 😅
I agree, I think the Rainbow High girls look SO cute, but I’m not really getting winter wonderland from their full outfits. I feel like they each have 1 piece that is “winter chic” and the rest is just thrown together 😂
My first reaction to the Rainbow High little sisters could be the 2.0 version of the Bratz meme "EEEEWWWW!!!" (Except it was more "EEEERRRRRRKK!!!") 😖
The faces are so uncanny that the dolls look like fakes.

I'm interested in the Rupaul's doll, but it doesn't mean I want to buy it, Mostly because I need to shop smart, and need to save money for paying taxes and necessities.
The LOL Mermaids are the only LOL dolls I want. 💀

Rainbow high is going down hill. It's quite obvious.
I was not a collector that would go for the type of doll Rainbow high is. Their highly stylized, cartoonish look is a bit much for me. I'm more Barbie or Fashion royalty doll lover, but Rainbow high was so intriguing and high quality, they seduced me to grab some.
Now they are silly and sappy and not exciting.

That rh budget went back to that yummy land reboot lol but seriously rip rainbow high it would appear Issac is going the Mattel route of let’s make it worse that comment about a toddler doing her hair is actually accurate, they give me nightmares
To be fair, a lot of kindergarteners at my work show up looking like Violet, with the wrong shoes for the weather, top with a worn out catch phrase, or like the Amya one, in a cheap, tacky princess dress. So much cheap, glittery tulle, every day. Also that locker set is saaaaaad, especially after the craft table playset. There's nothing beautiful or special there, like special shoes, a binder, or a pencil case. Just cheap looking.
I have to say I wasn’t initially impressed with the RuPaul doll, but I broke down and bought her off Amazon for 50$ on its release day….and it is STUNNING! She’s about as tall as Claudia Wolf. I ended up putting Ru next to my Headmistress Bloodgood doll and they look stunning together. ❤
I'm hesitant with Rainbow High currently. You see, unfortunately, it seems that some of the newer dolls have poly hair, I believe. At least, the Littles do, and it feels like some of the budget dolls do as well.
Definitely some if not all budget do, hopefully that will stay out of mainline
The Dream Besties Renee was originally designed with cargo pants but mattel cut them into shorts. I do not understand why they hate pants so much.

I am not planning to buy Rainbow High Winter Wonderland Skylar, brown eyes one in watercolor, and create, Little sister of Sunny, Don't care for Styling head, LOL Tween Chole, Emma Emo, Barbie Dream Besties Barbie "Malibu", Ken doll, Monster High Sdcc Deadfast Ghoulia update version, Rupaul at full price, I bought Rory Blueberry both Larger and smaller version, so they are off the list, any repeated of Magic Mixies Pixlings characters.
That brown eye color and create is the only pretty RH doll I have seen released this year. Plan to get her and dye her hair brown when she goes on sale. I used to like the Tweens, but these ones are a hard pass. Why would I get cheaper looking versions of ones I have. The only mermaid dolls I like are Barbies. Those Odlie ones and the two purple colored ones that are a Walmart exclusive are so pretty.
If anyone is angry because you didn’t like a doll they liked they need to rethink their priorities. You’re awesome.

@@FaeryTaleDolls i have thought of it. my Aunt suggested i buy a styling head. i think she meant something more professional but if i do buy a head its going to be a cartoon character. I do see a lot of styling head at Goodwill Frozen, Monster High or Barbie
I like some of these, the winter wonderland Sunny doll is vastly superior to the winter break one imo and the styling head gave me so much nostalgia to my first Bratz doll that was a styling head, I also like the OMG inflatable tweens, I'm so curious to see how the gimmick works in real life and the dolls look good to me. as for the rest, the mermaid tweens are cute but im not a mermaid doll fan, the littles are fine for the demographic but their not for me, the new Barbie line up has that EAH face which I'm not a fan of and the yummiland dolls just look like stylized legos.
