This home is huge! Love the craftsmanship and attention detail but what sold me was the the lower level and the outdoor living space with the pavilion. Obviously own by someone who loves to entertain.
I like it but I think most would think the house is ugly and will be tough to resell, to be honest. Very specific taste.

Yeah, I grew up in this area and the prior owners were friends of my family when I was a kid. It's located across the street from my parents' church. I used to play in the barn when I was in elementary school. $10 million for this property is absolutely nuts-- no matter what's in it, despite the reno and especially given the market in that area-- but good luck.

Wow that’s crazy if it was bought for 1.1 in 2018 it should barely be scraping the $2m price tag in 2023. Add to it the extravagant renovations and I’m still struggling to see how anyone pays more than 3 million for this thing
I love barns and love Bucks county. 3 mil is pushing it. A lot of waste in the remodel and those costs shouldn't be passed on to the next owner. Real estate developers need to recognize that instead of greedily stuffing their pockets. At the end of the day a roof is a roof and a toilet is a toilet. Who buys an 8 million dollar house and only needs a one car garage?
One more thing that really gets me. They put in $100,000 range from France. La Cooch or whatever. Blue Star, a high end appliance manufacturer is less than an hour away in Reading, PA.

TAKE NOTE, agents... the first words out of his mouth, "all right, let's start here, you immediately get the feeling of Gatsby." -- not "you see here there's some geometric wallpaper on the walls." That's why Ryan is the man.
As a buyer, I pay no attention to the theatrics and sales pitch that agents give. I have eyes to see what the house looks like and only I know if it fits my preferences. What I'm interested in is why the seller is selling, what are the downsides of this property, did anyone die in it, just anything that might be wrong with the house so I can decide if I care about the flaws or not before looking at the good stuff. I don't need anyone to sell me a vision or vibe when I visit a property, just stick to the facts and I'll be more likely to see myself living there or not. No time wasted on either side.
