It seems to me, once an individual wins one of these 'events' they believe they know what's best for their career. Instead of entering this new phase of their 'dream' like a sponge, soaking in every ounce of knowledge from those who have been in the business for years, they immediately want what THEY want. Too many 'winners' lose their opportunity because of impatience. This guy really is good.... I hope he hasn't blown his chance due to pride.
If anything, it's quite the opposite. Record companies force the artist to record an album that doesn't suit their style, in order to appear more mainstream. Then when the album bombs, the artist is blamed, the record company moves on to seek new talent, and any further opportunities are few and far between.

If you watch the video you will realize why he didn’t go further. He wasn’t gonna do the evil they required. It’s still on utube. I 🙏🏼 for him bc he taking a chance with his safety exposing this.
