That is an extremely specific tool. Picture yourself actually carrying that to a work site. When was the last time you needed a vice? Maybe someone needs a vice at home to begin with and this might be good depending on the weight of the stand and if it moves around too easily

I bought a Jawhorse about a year ago and it has been fantastic. I have used it to hold all kinds of wood, cabinets, doors, etc. while I'm standing, painting or cutting.

I use it every time I’m working on something. I didn’t expect to use it as much as I do.

Hey Jeff, great review as always! The Jawhorse is a great thing to have, one thing I would have like to seen is adjustable legs for height adjustments but all in all a great thing to have. Thanks for posting!

good point, hmm, maybe it does have adjustable legs and I just missed it. Certain saw horses have adjustable legs but they're always a pain to move up and down. I'll have to research to see if Rockwell makes one with adjustable legs!!!

I have one that is about 3 years old and can remove the clamp and turn it around for additional clamping range. I like mine so much that I am thinking about buying the new RK9002 (48").

I've wanted one for awhile, but they are pricey. Looks really cool.

Looks like a wonderful tool to have. Don't see it in my near future as we are in the process of building and moving, but hope to get my shop set up soon and always like to hear from others whether all these gadgets really work. This one looks like a winner. Thanks for showing us how it works. I'd like to know if it is stable once you start working on the clamped item. I hate it when I start routing or sanding something and it either moves in the clamp or tips side ways!

+Patti White I found that you can make the piece secure enough that it should move or tip sideways but Rockwell does have a good return policy in case it doesn't perform. In the next few weeks I have to make custom casings and will use the Jawhorse. So that'll be a good test

I've had mine over a year, happy with it but, today I can not unlock it, it's stuck. Any suggestions?

Is there any way you can give a price range when you show a tool?

    • @leeb.7188

I priced mine on Amazon. They had new, used and a "like new" reconditioned one from a company that reconditions returned tools and sells them at discount with the original warranty intact. That was the one I bought.

+Jim S you bet, I think this model is about $149. Moving forward I can give price ranges 👍

Yes, it's called CPO Outlets and they sell reconditioned tools from all the major brands. I've bought a number of tools from them and have never been disappointed. If you get on their email list you'll get notice of sales.

Man, I really want to subscribe but it seems like another paid shill on CZcams but he is very clear and concise which is cool. ps, if you are not a paid shill or get your tools for free, please point that out in your videos since it will give a ton more validity.
