Just a note about those digital copy codes, they are usually still good indefinitely after their expiration dates. Just in case you'd have any reason to use/save them.
Thanks for the heads up! I usually offer them to my friends, but sometimes they don't want them. Could come in handy for a backup copy sometime
Does resident evil 2 still have the bonus footage added into the movie like the 4k set that came out 3 years ago..
RE Apocalypse has both the theatrical and extended versions available on the disc
Do you think it’s worth upgrading the regular 4k collection to the Steelbook collection?
The Final Chapter has a few extra bonus features compared to the old set. For the rest, that's mostly going to depend on your player/TV. The new discs in the Steelbook set have Dolby Vision HDR. But if your TV or player doesn't support the Dolby Vision, it probably won't look much different than the discs in the older 4K set. Game consoles like the XSX and PS5 (which are probably the most popular 4K BD players) don't have support for it yet.
Is it really worth it in the end? Probably not, unless you're a huge fan of the series. The price on the new set is still pretty high as well, but it's a very nice package.
Watched them yet?
I've seen all of the films before, and so far have watched Resident Evil and Apocalypse from the new set. PS5 doesn't have support for Dolby Vision yet, so I haven't noticed a big change in visuals; but for those with the proper setup it should be a nice upgrade.
