  • There is nothing like catching your first Bluefin Tuna. And there is nothing like having monster Bluefin busting out of the water in an absolute frenzy next to your boat.
But that very thing happened when our crew of Speechless landed our first monster bluefin recently off of Oregon Inlet in North Carolina. This was a major learning experience for us as well as a dream come true, and we're excited to share the entire story with the Salt Water Fishing University community.
Some of the shots in this video are absolutely epic, including underwater shots of the tuna with the lure in its mouth.
So enjoy the video and as always, stay salty friends!!
Special thanks to Doug Gray of Killer Bee Customs for his custom rods and lures used in this video.

Love this episode! Offshore fishing is way harder than most people think. Great catch. Happy Easter to you and the crew!

I can watch this all day!! Love the unspoken choreography of a talented deck! The “magician” has so many talents and so happy to see everyone truly enjoying themselves! #GoteamKillerBees.

Guys gotta throw the harpoon sooner. It’s not a gaff.

Well, we're all learning for sure Peter. What you're watching is is our journey learning it, so I'm sure we'll make many mistakes along the way. Thanks for being a part of the channel, and tight lines!

One thing I noticed in this video was everyone stayed calm and level headed I've seen plenty of fish lost right at the boat because of someone rushing a green fish great job to all the crew

Appreciate that very much Jimmy. The day before, we rushed it and paid the price. But we learned, and are finding Patience is key. Thanks for your kind words and for being a part of the channel!

The guy with the harpoon needs to stay out of the cockpit a total miracle you guys got that fish .

Well, you could see it that way Nick. Or you could say, "For someone who is literally just learning to throw the stick, he got it done." Everyone on the boat is learning. We're all imperfect. My guess is you were there also at some point in your life, no? ...Regardless, thanks for watching.
