Tracki GPS Tracker Review 2022 - For Luggage (Better Than Tile?)

- I recently put both a Tracki GPS tracker and a Tile Bluetooth tracker to the test on a transatlantic flight between the US and Israel. Fortunately (for this test at least!) the flight ended up being something of an ordeal with two rebookings. While the United Airlines app provided general information as to where the bags were moving, Tracki outperformed it both in speed and accuracy. The Tile was able to derive non-Bluetooth positioning thanks to its Tile Network, but the updates and accuracy couldn't compete with the Tracki which has a built-in worldwide data SIM operating on 2G, 3G, and 4G.
While some may question the utility of GPS luggage trackers, for the $20/month data subscription and the $20 product price, personally, this is technology that I plan on using again!

The tile is completely unreliable It communicates with people's phones that are running the tile app
Totally useless in my experience
The air tag Is much more reliable
Though I'm not an Apple user I have tried it though

Good review and comparison. I recently ordered a couple Tracki devices and looking forward to using them as a frequent traveler. I'm not sure yet how to program my settings to see the history of locations, when I go into the app to see the history, it tells me I need to change settings. I will say that it is accurate at location of the map in the app

A Bluetooth tracker is useless on a pet
When you click to ping it and find it’s location from the app will it make a sound or vibrate? Also will it show on someone else’s device that a tracker is following them like AirTag does?
Will Tracki work with another pre paid gps sim? Or I need their subscription
Hey at 7:20, you said you had to manually ping for updates. Would this mean that every minute you would have to manually ping it just to report the tracking data?

Yes. 1 tracker/subscription
How long is Tracki battery life ??
The tile uses phones as well
If someone is using the tile app it will detect that and ping its location
It doesn't just communicate with another tag
I found them to be completely unreliable anyway
Did you put the tracki inside the luggage or on the outside?

Battery died in two days
I found every GPS tracker completely unreliable apart from the Vodafone curve
The air tag is useful though
You need to take the speaker out of it so no one can find it lol
