The one guy out of thousands that cashed out before the stock dipped: 🤑
Stock brokers: “damnit! How did we not have him?!”

Remember these, stockers
If you want to dominate the stock market in a smart way then,
1. Let yourself become the broker of your own investment.
2. Let your mind go deeper into what you invest to the point that you knew what was running in that stocks
3. Prices are just numbers that deceives you unless, it either affects the value of what you invest with
4. Manage to have connection into owning everything
5. Know what industry are you picking not just the company itself. Remember that, there are a stock word called competitors
6. And lastly, one of the most important thing that still applies up to this day are *"What most people does is what the market will not do"*
The challenge is following these principles consistently
How the hell do you broker your own investments?
Literally talked to the real Mark Hannah on the phone last night. Bro was gone.
You rich on paper, they rich on cash. Your money your choice 😂
A parallel occurred during the 2008 crisis, with people in the real estate market. They'd make tons of cash as bonuses for signing up anyone and everyone for house loans they knew they couldn't pay.
The problem with our economy is the rich don't have any skin in the game, not in any real sense. They don't make money off stocks, they make money off fees, which are collected regardless of if the underlying asset goes up or down, because by the time it does go down, you're out of the game.
And if you're a billionaire, it doesn't matter if stocks go down either. Yeah, your wealth goes down, but not enough to destroy you, and you pay for things with loans anyway. At that point, you're in a different universe playing a different game. And when the stocks come back up, they're cheap. You're in a great position to buy them. Very, very few billionaires have ever lost everything.
That's not true... lots of billionaires and millions became homeless tooo...!! Making money is an art...!!! Either you be perfect on it or it will take you to the street.. the third type is the middle class they are at same place 50 years ago & now also.

Word of advice, once you got a big stock cash it out, and don't listen to the brokers, if you can get enough money to just live life without money problems do it, don't fall for their greed
Agreed. The bigger the stock increase the higher the risk of keeping it. Better to sell it. And if the entire market is going up, sell most stocks and buy bonds. And when the market declines reverse: sell most bonds, buy back stocks. Of course after proper research
and wait for a market decline to buy

I'm a business major and this is literally what they taught us in Finance 101. Nobody can predict stock movement. The price is determined by the expected value of the prediction. So if you think you know something that the market doesn't, you are either wrong, or doing something illegal. There's no third option. So when I see some jackass "examining" stock graphs it can get very triggering.
Two legends in one frame ❤
This is true, its a common and effective strategy as once you get a massive amount of clientele you can bring in high amounts of cash via a small commision from all of them, and you can use the same stocks as well

Years later after learning a bit about stocks... I finally really understand this scene
Sooo, everyone gets money. Win-Win lol
So technically, no. On paper you have money most rich people are this way with stocks assets and so on. In reality they have next to no real money but they bring out loans against their assets at very low rates usually. It's a very much broken system. Because the ways it's supposed to work is investors take the risk in investing In a company these days even if something is failing they over invest in the idea even if it's a decade plus old and has been losing billions to hundred of billions total. They then such as silicone Valley buy a ton of basically bonds at a value of millions or more except federally you're locked in at 250k Max per account/cash in. Well sort of. What happened was when they went to cash in there wasn't enough funds to cover anything really. Hundreds of billions lost. That's the simple way to put it.
Was it stupid? Yes. But because the government basically allows you to plus is supposed to pay out still but couldn't it's a massive loss. Part of the major issues with the government or a central bank controlling interests rates stocks and so on. It's entirely artifical rather than actual value.
We haven't been on the gold standard for many decades now. It would put us in a far better spot now, but it wouldn't last forever. What is always important is food drink land and so on are the most valuable resources in trade.
There are many other reasons but basically those in wall street who think they're playing people and getting money well not really and when they crash the government bails them out which causes further destruction. It's an endless destructive cycle.
The stock market is a game of summary 0, that means if you win 1 dollar in the stock market another agent ( maybe 1 person or maybe 100) from the stock market loses that 1 dollar, so no it is not a win-win. in the decade that this movie takes place this broker guys scam a shit ton of people hahaha a bunch of people believe his BS and the only job that was getting higher an higher incomes was being a broker hahaha
@@Miguel211216practically every exchange is zero sum by absolute definition. If you had 5 dollars that you exchanged for a 5 dollar sandwich, then neither party gained value in the exchange.
By a more applicable definition, the stock market isn’t zero sum, because one party may hold a stock that is riskier than they want, and another party may hold cash and is looking for a riskier & more lucrative asset to hold. Then by trading, they both get what they want. The guy who took the cash didn’t lose out on any money, he just chose to give up those cashflows in favor of actual cash, which is stable.
The whole scene just points out how false Wall Street is.
