Submerging Africa in 9 Quintillion Liters of Water - Universe Sandbox
Vložit
- čas přidán 8. 09. 2022
- Hello and welcome back to another video!
FAQ:
Q: Why did you do this?
A: Sometimes, donating a few wells isn't enough
Q: Is this a net benefit for Africa?
A: No, the vast majority of their usable land is now unusable as a result of being underwater
Q: What will happen to the gulf stream due to 9 quintillion liters entering the oceans?
A: I don't know; ask your local meteorologist if you're really that curious
Q: Will this happen in real life?
A: Nothing is preventing 9 quintillion liters of water from coincidentally coalescing into a single giant ball. The main issue is keeping it liquid, so that the Universe's biggest ball of hail isn't slamming into Earth.
Q: Will a planet like this have enough mass to start fusion like a star?
A: No; it requires much more mass or a much higher density to actually create fusion like a star. I haven't done the math, but Earth's rock is about as dense as water, which means it would take A LOT more water than Earth's entire mass to actually make a star.

There is no waste in God's creation. Allah has created everything in the universe according to His measure.
- How many lemons can be harvested from one lemon tree? About 2000 lemons (about 500 kg). Would it have been better if each lemon tree would bear only one lemon? Would that not be a waste of space? No waste of water, and how valuable would a lemon be if you could harvest only one lemon per tree? The same goes for apples, cherries, oranges, and countless other foods.

I'm pretty sure it would have washed over the entire earth up to about 1500ft above sea level in the very shalowest places. lol like 99.998% extinction level event after 3 days for sure. Like there's probably a few hills in Canadia and peaks along the edge of South Amercia that would sustain no devistating floods. But then it would probably cause a major ice age after raining nonstop everywhere for hundreds of years. 99% of people that lived initially would probably starve before the 200 million year winter began. It would definitely give us a reason to evolve more.

Kinetic energy gets converted into Heat energy...
So we got rid of the African water supply
🥰🥰🥰 you are a hero, saving the poor kids from dehydration, you deserve a nobel peace prize
Nope!
1) the bubble is too big - it would not stay spherical: the gravity field of the earth would tear it apart.
2) at that approaching speed, contact with atmosphere would cause immense pressure, immense temperature, enough to set the air on fire like in a huge nuclear detonation.
3) at collision, there would be an even bigger explosion, instantly vaporizing most of the water, while (this is correct) large chunks of the crust would be thrown into space.
4) a formidable shock wave, followed by a wall of fire would engulf the entire planet in a matter of hours, erasing every life form living on the surface.
5) the liquid projectile would pierce the crust and plonge into the mantle, being vaporized and solidifying a huge part of the inner earth, disrupting the magnetic field and causing incredible eruptions, quakes of unspeakable power, possibly changing the tilt of the axis and the rotation speed. The added mass will change as well the orbit of the earth.
6) desert, desolate, unrecognizable, our planet would be a barren ball immersed into a permanent turkish bath of torrid steam for some hundred of thousand years, before eventually cooling down, then rain would fall for thousands of years, covering all land with water. If some life form would survive, we're talking of bottom feeders inhabiting the deeper abysses. Nothing we know as "earth" would survive a collision of this proportions.
🤓
i mean, thats basically what happened
can you provide any physics' calculations or any kind of research that could back these claims because at one end your saying gravity would rip it apart and burn it up but at the same time large portions of vapor would remain in the sky and massive portions of the water would collide, cause massive explosions, just enough to destroy everything except maybe bottom dwellers and massively crack the earth so much that it disrupts the magnetic field without causing it to become inert?
🤓

Africans: first there was too little water now there's too much
MrBeast after saying there is a lack of water in Africa:
Scientists decided to call this celestial body of water "Skrillex" because it had one hell of a drop.
mm what if reference
There would still be a tremendous amount of heat from the kinetic energy and alot of the water would turn to steam and even some of it would be flung back out into space. The Earth would be engulfed in fire before things settled down.
It could turn earth into a venus type planet. Superthick dense steamy atmosphere. Maybe there is still superhot oceans as water cook temperature rises with preasure.
And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. Revelation 8:10-11
And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood. Revelation 8:8

I’ve always wondered how much water would heat up if a giant planet sized glob would crash through the atmosphere.
Probably surprisingly little. The heat capacity of that thing would be immense. Of course the energy to be dissipated is also immense. So in short, who knows. I guess it is not so hard to compute how many degrees of heating would occur if all the kinetic energy were converted to evenly heating the water...
I love the Q and A in the description!!! "Idk go ask your local meteorologist!!"

Thats basically like dropping the combined water of all the oceans on one spot, effectively doubling the amount of water on earth. It was crazy how at the end, almost all land was submerged by the resulting rise in water level.

In the hush of dawn, where shadows play,
There dances water in a graceful array.
From mountain peaks to ocean's might,
It weaves its tale in morning light.
A river's flow, a gentle stream,
Reflecting skies in its shimmering gleam.
It whispers secrets to the earth below,
As it journeys on, steady and slow.
In lakes, it mirrors the azure sky,
Where birds take flight and clouds drift by.
Its surface smooth, a tranquil glass,
Inviting all to let time pass.
In storms, it roars with fierce delight,
Thunderous waves, a breathtaking sight.
Yet in its chaos, there's a kind of peace,
