    I think go-pros are not able to capture the actual steepness but totally understand how difficult it is, but all in one it's worth it. You stepped a heaven on earth for sure. Amazing!

      The trek is open from July to September only. Few trekking companies also offer it in winter. Trekking in winter is harder.

    Where did you book it from?

    • @roamingelsewhere2140
      @roamingelsewhere2140  Před 8 měsíci

      I booked it with this company called the searching souls. You can check Trek the Himalayas. It’s better but more expensive.

      As a woman I have 2 questions:
      A. Was it safe?
      B. How did you maintain hygiene on the trek?
      If you'd be kind enough to answer, it would mean a lot.

    • @roamingelsewhere2140
      @roamingelsewhere2140  Před 8 měsíci

      @@chhavimaheshwari4831 yes it’s safe. I mean I don’t know exactly what you want to ask in terms of safety. But if you go with a good trekking company with skilled and experienced guides, it’s safe. Hygeine is a bit tricky. I mean treks pe you might have to compromise on a few things coz the toilets are make shift toilets. Basically it’s a dry pit covered by a small tent. I mean you need to carry hygiene wipes n menstrual cup ( if you are menstruating). It’s very very difficult n unhygienic without the cup. I got my periods on the first day n menstrual saved me. You won’t get to take shower for 7 days. So your wet wipes can help. Can wash only your face n hands n legs in the river water ( which is extremely cold).

      Thank you very much. I am so inspired by you now, knowing the fact you did such a difficult trek during periods. Hats off.
