Can someone tell me for an E2 Visa whether or not you file both the DS 160 and 156E simultaneously? Thank you.

In my case DS 160 was done online and I sent 156e with the application paperwork to embassy. If you are in a country where all the docs are submitted online you will have to attach it with the application however DS156e is separate form than DS160 and is usually filled up in computer not online. However you don't have to submit 156e at same time with DS160 as online will only let you complete visa application DS160
