I just got my limited edition on Friday. I love it! My first uke is the Caramel zebra wood tenor and I love it a lot. I plan on making that my low-g. Right now I have fun playing a song on one uke and then on the other to notice the differences. I only started in March but playing the uke has become my passion.
Sometimes I just set both ukes next to each other and admire them.

maplebob23 isn’t it the most fun thing ever??? The uke is such a hidden gem. I’m kicking myself for not taking the time to learn earlier in life. I am so glad you love yours!

  • @chariscarrollbrownlie4904

My case has a shoulder strap and opens smooth as butter. I use the little pouch to put my capo and spare strings in and it fits neatly under the neck of the ukelele in the case

I just received mine today in black and it's the most amazing thing ever! I was originally going to buy the Outdoor Ukuele (being the polycarbonate fibreglass in soprano in the lowest range of prices), but since I live outside of the US, it was very expensive in my currency (and along with a very expensive international shipping). And there was no case or any accessories that I needed. But then when I saw the Enya nova, I was immediately in love with the design, and the fact that it had the accessories and was available to purchase in my country! It's funny how both are from the same polycarbonate carbon fibre (which is 50x stronger than fibreglass) material, but just the price and the origin of the craftsmanship. And I love the fact that it has an extra soundhole and I could hear my playing perfectly (which the Outdoor model didn't have). I also bumped the ukulele a couple of times against the wall today, but no dent or crack to be seen so it's holding up pretty well against impact.
But in terms of sound and playability, the uke is very bright and resonant and is very comfortable to play. The concert size was perfect for me and it's much more easier to access with my fingers than the soprano model. The Enya model had a cutaway so it's easier to access higher frets than the other model. And the Enya model is very comfortable to play with, especially with the thin body in comparison to the Outdoor model having a thicker body. I must say, Enya did a very great job with this uke! I would recommend the purchase to buy if you're looking for an outdoor, cheap, robust and durable ukulele!
    Play on! 🎸

Gizmo Mac this is such a great review! I agree 💯 with the brightness of sound and ease of playability. Enya is not normally on my radar when it comes to purchasing. Had I not had the opportunity at a music conference to see it and play it, I would never have given it a second glance. SO worth the money for the joy it brings! I am stoked you love it!

@@MusicwithMrsLC Hey ! I just subscribed to your channel. Glad I found you. So, I started looking at ukulele tutorials maybe a week ago and that’s it is very addictive lol so guess what !? I’m looking and searching like crazy to buy a concert ukulele. I so want to learn. I was intrigued with the flight one with zero fret, plastic in the back bla bla bla. I keep thinking of that Enya nova but I am not sure cause I saw a comment someone said if you are a beginner it might not be a good choice because apparently the fret is very black, you don’t even know where to put your fingers for a note. IDK if it’s true but I would extremely appreciate it if someone could help me. And you did by this tutorial but I need to know what you think about what I wrote about the frets being to dark and everything. Please Help lol hope you can understand what I wrote, I’m bilingual but French mostly. Ok thank you if you took the time to read me. … from an addictive ukulele Canadian woman hahaha😂 bye 🇨🇦

Thanks for the excellent review. Saw these online and was intrigued. Will be getting one soon. It will be my first instrument to properly learn on. Fell in love with the uke when I was at a music shop and the guy by the ukes recomended one. He showed me how to play a quick tune with one finger and I was awed that I could make it sound just like a song. Perfect verasatile instruments for beginnners. The enya appealed to me cause I live in a humid hot area most of the year. Plus I can take it with me if I travel and it will hold up.

I live, full time, on a small, anchored sailboat in Florida. Because of the limited space I opted to get a ukulele. The first one I bought was a Kala concert. Nice instrument. But it's WOOD and a boat isn't the best place for a wooden uke. But I didn't like the Waterman that was the only plastic uke at the Sam Ashe store. I liked the look of the Enya Nova instantly but I agonized on whether I should buy it. True, $89.99 is relatively cheap, but it's nearly 10% of what I get each month in Social Security. Eventually, though, I said, "What the heck?" (Well I didn't REALLY say, "heck" but this is a G-rated site.) I really LOVE this uke. I've had it for a couple of months now and I haven't played the Kala since I took this out of the box.

richard philbrick I agree 💯! Like I said in the video I would very likely not have made this purchase if I hadn’t had an opportunity at a professional conference to give it a test drive. It is such a delight to play! I am also not thrilled with the Waterman series. Maybe for a child who is just starting out and wants the durability but the strings on those are a nightmare to keep in tune and I’ve heard many who say the bridge also bows with time. The Nova feels so much more substantial and professional and sounds 100x better. Thanks so much for the feedback, I’m so glad you are enjoying your Nova U!

hey thanks for the review. My first thought regarding the lack of shoulder strap is to put the whole case in another larger gig bag with straps. Weird solution yes. They also now have a soprano model that does come with shoulder strap on the case, per customer demand it seems like - but the soprano model does not have built-in strap buttons and they got rid of the capo and included a tuner instead, also it seems per customer suggestions. So far I've only seen black in soprano, in concert size there is a forgotten color which is bright red. I know all this because I'm about to buy one so I've been shopping online. The soprano is smaller but it looks to me that it has the same number of frets (interesting), it's missing the strap buttons and black color only so far - but the case seems to have improved zipper, improved handle as well as the new added strap. I'm hours from ordering one but now I'm considering the electric version if I could find a good review with good sound demo so I can decide...
