- In this series, we break down different Durham Region neighbourhoods. The tour will start from my desk where we will hop into where each neighbourhood is located on a map, a little bit about the area including schools, things to do and housing types. From there we will hop into my car for a quick drive around different parts of the area.
Brooklin is located just north of the 407 and "Whitby Proper". So while it is technically part of Whitby, the village has a community and culture of its own. From the Brooklin Spring Fair to Christmas in the Village, there is always something going on in this incredible little community.
