How to use SOHCAHTOA to find the missing angle in a right angle triangle
This video is typically a grade B GCSE question and deals with SOHCAHTOA trigonometry.
The question asks you to calculate the value of an angle when given the hypoteneuse and adjacent.
I hope it helps and please do leave a comment below - thanks.

Needed a refresher as my physics instructor was a condescending jerk. Thank.
Thank you for this video.
Your videos are great! Thanks for the help :)
I have watched a number of your excellent videos. Very good modelling on the board and steady pace, working through all the steps. Some videos are too fast and are fine for A-A* students or they are aimed at Foundation. You address the middle people who are getting there. I have done a fast pace, year long, adult course to get my skills polished so I can tutor. I am an ex primary teacher. Many thanks...last paper tomorrow. Have a good summer break.
All very best with your exam and thank you for your comments :-)

I'm learning this for fun. I'm only 12 but now I understand Radians, Soh Cah Toa, and conversions from degrees to radians and vice versa. It's a lot more fun that learning in school because I know I'm doing this by myself and my own will.
That’s great and it’s good to see independent learning - all very best with your studies! S :-)

+henry langmaid - That's great and glad to help :-)
can you use any of the three different things the same way?... the SOH, CAH, TOA so for instance if i only had the opposite length and the hypotenuse length would i use "SOH" in the same way as "CAH" (Using the sin and sin-1 button on my calculator..)
Hi Ben Target the easiest way is to label your triangle with the opp, adj and hyp. The hyp will always be the same - as its the longest side. The opp will change as you need to label the side opposite to the angle you're working on.
Hope this is OK and all best
S :-)
thank you this helped me so much :)
