Bro thank you so much i was having stutters and massive fps drops on my new 4090. I did the first step first and that solved everything even the crashing. When i ran the scanning tool on command prompt it found problems and fixed them. Now i can play at a steady 280 fps at 1440p without dropping a single frame

I cant really play, first, my fps is always at 120/130 fps and even if i put lowest settings, doesnt change anything, but thats not the main problema, i have a lot of stuttering in battle royal and a unbelievable input delay

i have a problem. I have rtx 3070 and i5 12400, in fortnite i have a lot of statters and freezes, at epic full hd i have 75 fps, but statters gave me 12fps 20, or in fly 5fps. idk what i have, but in the minimalistic graphics i have the same lags!

@@antipathy17 You are absolutely free to think like you want to. However I actually did a lot of things and keep doing them for changing the fps and the latency. I did a lot before doing this and Fortnite was feeling not as good after I switched this thing. Also there are still many factors that could affect the various in-game parameters in a different way.

Texture on high
And effects on medium.
And everything else on off or low.
3D res on 100%
1080p or 1440p
Can go a bit lower.
If that doesn’t, turn everything off/low
I can but I think texture on low it gives lower lows but higher highs
textures on medium gives more consistent fps
texture on high stars to effect fps
view distance med and far is best
My fps stayed in the 300s in my matches on zero build so this definitely helped I'm on an AMD processor as well

5:43 instead of CTRL, ALT, DEL for task manager just do CTRL , SHIFT, ESC
Right click task bar > Open Task Manager
2:53 for the Xbox Game Bar you can also run a regedit or a cmd command to completely uninstall it from your system. your Game Bar will default to a system native one.

Hey. Thanks for the video but unfortunately it didn’t help. I tried it 2 times on my gtx 1650 super 8GB ram stuck cooler and i5 10400f and stutter. I switched to a rtx 3060 eagle 16GB water cooler i5 10400f new motherboard and it still stutter and I tried it on my new pc build and it didn’t work. What can I do?

Best tutorial ever, I have a pretty good gaming laptop with a 4070 and an i9. In any other game i was averaging around 300 fps, but in fortnite it was going to around only 150 and kept dropping to like 50 in box fights, etc. Once I did all these instructions Right as I was loading into zone wars I was greeted to 400 fps! and ran around 300 fps mid game with no fps drop really at all.

I never used to have issues with stutters in Fortnite but sometime around 2019 and onward it has been complete dogshit. I have a beast of a PC and have done everything to fix it and nothing works. They did something to really mess this game up. This many people shouldn't be having problems with a game that looks like a 1990s Disney cartoon. Great job Epic, hope you're making the money you wanted with all the dogwater skins you keep putting in the game.
dude, literally :D i have a 4k eur pc, and the game runs so fucking afwul while every setting is on the lowest one possible, the game is so pixalated cant even see shit, while gliding and searching for an offspawn weapon, all i see is some colorfull shit blobs on my screen. it all went downhill at the start of chapter 3. normally i had a 800eur pc, and i got perfect 180 frames. now its just unplayable

@@morganlimes no it did not, at least for me, most of the chapter 2 ran like butter and was super smooth. but after chapter 2 my ping went from being 30 to 90 at best (its not my problem trust me) frames went to 30 and so on. it does annoy me aswell that they get away with such shit, they should be putting their money into fixing the servers and the lag instead of the collab skins n nobuild. btw its the og season today, thought i might give it a try. and its complete garbage, map brings back some memorys though. well atleast its better than chapter 4. bohoo such an huge upgrade :D

Can someone help me out, im having a problem with launching fortnite. Its saying that i need to have directx 12 install but before i never needed install. Even if i do install it, when i try to change it to performance it will stay on directx 12 pls help me out.
On the fortnite config file go to properties and uncheck read only. Then switch to performance mode.
also before u do this make a restore point and if ur pc gives problems u can restore back to its original state!

if you launch fortnite with easy anticheat you wont be able to change the priority. u need to launch the game with battleye. another way is using registry to permanently set the priority to high everytime u launch the game

I’ll definitely try this. I have an RTX 3060 ASUS tuf laptop with 16gb RAM and my laptop seems to struggle with shaders on Fortnite. Lowering the resolution of the game helped but I still experience random stutters and small freezes while playing but I only have my shader settings to medium. Yet my friend with less powerful device can handle the game on epic shader settings. I don’t know why it’s bugging out but I need to figure it out

I have RTX3060Ti with i5-12400 and 16GB ram. Somehow it seems to be impossible to get stable fps without major drops. I play on 1440p because of 27" display. This is driving me crazy because I know it should run fine with this without using performance mode wich I used with my old PC (GTX1060, i5-8400, 16GB)...

I have R5 5600 paired with 3060 ti MSI, I get 80 fps while even just seeing at mega city on lowest settings possible...temps are normal af, nothing is running at background, normal everything...can anyone help or @CodeLife can u help me???
Seems like one of these problems:
- Corrupt gpu drivers or windows
- No AMD chipset drivers
- Bad Ram kit
- DX12 works better for some people than Performance mode.
- If other games work fine, it's fortnite's fault. Try resetting fortnite settings by deleting "FortniteGame" folder.
Let me know if fixing any of these works.

@@1arkii7 That isn't really relevant. Even 8GB is enough for Fortnite. The real question is if he has 2 sticks of Ram to run in dual channel. Using only 1 stick immensely decreases performance.
