For fps drops in fights lower your effects graphic settings brother ❤️
If you're on Windows 11 and confused on the different look of the windows in Fix 1 compared to this tutorial, just do the same steps of right-clicking the empty space in the This PC area, clicking properties, and then under the Device specifications section there should be a list of things like "Device name" "Full device name" "Processor" and so on. At the bottom of that list there should be 4 separate tabs, and it'll be selected on Related links right now. Click on the "Advanced system settings" tab and it'll bring you to the same place that the tutorial showed. Everything after that is the same.
For Fix 2, right click on your desktop and click display settings or go to settings and select system on the left and then display. Scroll all the way down to "Related settings" right above "Related support" and click Graphics. At the very top where it says default settings there's a "Change default graphics settings" button, click on that. Hard-accelerated GPU scheduling will be right at the top.

Hey, please help with this question. So I have 32GB of RAM, my SSD is on my C drive. Would it be worth allocating/setting a page of virtual memory to help performance on fortnite? If so what would you recommend setting the paging size to? Or would you leave it to automatically amage paging file size for all drives? Thanks

no , I actually factory reset my pc multiple times and the problem is persistent. I suspect background apps or cpu bottleneck

idk what to do just watch vids how to fix but like Im a pc optimizer i tweaked my 2 yr old pc not to lag but with patience and determiniation try to tweak ur cmp for ur fps

Ill try it later. I have bought a refurb HP Z2 G4 PC for mid end gaming. It has a i7 8700k, installed my GTX 1660 Super 6GB GDDR6 inside my PC no issues. And have 24 GB ram installed. Have Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit. Been getting constant FPS drops lately. Shouldn't be having problems. And my PSU has 500 wats. Shouldnt have issues with game stutters and frame drops. I would fix it in Nividia control panel but dont wanna risk stuff. Wish they had a program that can fix it for you automatically so you don't have to mess crap up that you're not supposed to. :( Been playing Alan Wake and Fallout 4 and Skyrim Special Edition. Been getting drops. And in Alan Wake *OG" the camera keeps moving when Alan is on the ferry. Like spazzing if that makes sense so idk how to fix it. And I sometimes get watery image effects like for example. The game washes out during gameplay Sometimes with a water color effect. It gets annoying. It does this on my 50* 4KTV. HDR is turned on think I should turn that off? And turn on Game Mode? Idk what to do. :(
brother your specs are good enough for many games turn hdr too like you said coz sometimes hdr can mess imag qlty. then put your power option to high performance and turn wallpaper engines you got.
do you have 2x8gb stiks and 1x8gb ram sticks ?
use only 18 gb and try dual channeling.
does your temperatures are in normal range ?
and update your vga and windows too

Its very hard to mess anything up in the control panel, it even has failsafes on the resolutions, there is settings that aim for performance and detail, its impossible to mess it up.

Another useful tip: You can also disable microsoft device association root enumerator, In device manager by clicking on software devices and then disabling it. When i disabled it my game stopped stuttering and was alot smoother.
Note: This might actually cause random stutters or fps drops on some pcs/laptops, But you can try out some games with microsoft device association root enumerator enabled or disabled. I hope this tip was useful! And i hope you have a great day!

i have 40 gb ram and two ssd. ive calculated my initial and maximum size is 81920mb but only my F ssd accept this settings. the other one (C) says there is not enough storage. i have 12824mb storage space available on my C ssd and 133872 on my F ssd. what should i do
Brother set it to 16384 size
After 16 gb you dont need to put more than 16384 🤗
I had a question if i reduce the screen resolution then could it be benificial in any way cz i tried same thing for minecraft setting i got some better performance
screen resolution usually takes more of your gpu size but there are different graphics settings you can tweak that can give you better fps and performance without you notice any difference in graphics.

I have a Ryzen 5 5600H 16GB RAM RX6500m Laptop .... But when i play using an Emulator ex Bluestacks/Msi .... The Vmem Consumption is a LOT !! like 5 GB and and when i open task manager to see ram usage ... its like a lot ... only 2-3gb ram is left to use + the game gets laggy and feels heavy to play ..... I then switched off Hyper V so the vmem doesnt take memory now ... and game runs smooth for now .... but i checked that virtual ram space i have given is 6gb (6144)MB so what else can i do ? should i lessen the size or carry on with it

No brother you only have to put 16384 size and if you got more space in ssd you can try 32768 but that’s optional

Hi! Recently i bougth a rtx 2060 6gb and paired it with an i5 10400f 16gb single channel of ram, ssd and hdd with 500w of power. I tested it in benchmark and everything goes well until i play a game, when i open games the gpu and cpu only works to a 25 o 30% of the power. And im gettin so low fps. I tried custom drivers, original ones, power managment, nvidia control panel configurations, gpu undervolt and overclock and more things but anything work. Do you have a clue of what is happening and how can i fix it? Thank you very much and great video

Thanks for the tips on fixing these issues. But for even though i have enabled to see all hidden folders the Pagefile.sys dont appear for me. I ran a 32gb ram. Only using 16 like you already told others here in chat. I still have some drops to 20 fps.... at least the audiostuttering is gone. And it is a bit smoother after all.

used to play rdr2 over 100fps, now drops between 40 and 9 fps, nothing worked. All updates are done and Task Manager says every % is rather low (CPU MEMORY)

@@nightmareplaysgg I already did that, fps are limited in 138, with vsync on and gsync on, also test it off with frames caped and no cap, I tried all and nothing is working to solve that issue, the only thing is that my cpu usage sometimes is almost 100% but I don't know how to reduce that. it helped oO. For games, i used only a NVMe and i think i dont need any pagefiles anymore cause enough ram. It remember me actually to the first start Horizon zero dawn what often crash without paging (on this time i dont have not this actually pc)

hey sir i couldnt find the file after the first fix but i checked it and i changed in my settings to the 65536 from 32gb. So i dont know if its working or not and i also restarded my pc.

THANK YOU SO MUCH I HAVE BEEN GOING CRAZY BECAUSE ITS BEEN STUTTERING SO MUCH FOR MONTHS AND I PUT 32GB OF VIRTUAL MEMORY AND IT FINALLY WORKED ITS NOT STUTTERING I CAN FINALLY PLAY IN PEACE
and i found out it was stuttering because of too much ram usage so when i put more virtual ram it made the ram usage less so it stopped stuttering

Thanks for making this video! I'll try the other options as well, are they for more FPS or just to fix stutter? I could always use more frames lol

I bought my first PC 4 days ago. i5-12400F, 16gb ram, rx 6600. I've done EVERYTHING and NOTHING works. Stuttering like crazy. I'm about to lose my mind.
Update windows and graphics drivers
And check your temperatures too brother
@@nightmareplaysgg already did that. everything is updated, temperatures are fine and even when I check performance mid game my gpu, cpu and ram are below 50% use.

why when you did the math for 8gb of ram and you put that number in(16,384) and then when you went to c drive it said 16gb on the hidden file?
It shows it like that but the actual size of the file is 16384
