Out of the box ride ability is much more important to me then the party scene. I’m not a pack rider. I’d go with Indian. Basically you just convinced me the Indian is the way for me to go!
I'm a Harley guy, will always have a HD in my garage. That's my choice, but every rider should choose the bike that makes them happiest to ride, as long as you're on 2 wheels and happy!
I was intrigued with your commentary on the Harley Road-glide versus the Indian challenger. I too am a Harley guy and have been for years. However, you have placed many extra dollars into that Harley to get it to where you want it to be. The Harley and the Indian challenger are pretty close in the cost out the door but Indian offers much more for the dollar. For example: The Indian offers electronic locks on the saddlebags, electric windshield, and a mono shock system which provides a much smoother ride, much better lighting system right out the door and as you said they are pretty fast right from the factory. Honda Yamaha Kawasaki have been building smaller bikes for kids for years. As these kids get older they buy a little bigger bike because these companies have them ready for them right now. When the kids become adults they don’t even think about looking for a Harley because they have not grown up with the love affair that we have for the Harley brand. They look to the companies that they’re very familiar with when they look for the big cruiser type bikes. On top of all that the younger adults today can get a full-size motorcycle from most any brand that is 40 to 50% cheaper than a Harley right from the beginning. That is a huge deal for future sales for the Harley brand. An example of Harley coming out with an all electric motorcycle but the price tag is 30 grand. Not too many young people are going to spend that kind of money just because it’s a Harley. Right now I plan to keep my 2018 street glide but next year or so if I make a change I will take a serious look at what the Indian has to offer. Dave
Adam is talking a lot about the Dealerships and family of HD. I bought a 2019 Ultra Limited and after about 10,000 miles it started knocking. HD tried everything in their power to not do the right thing and warranty the motor. HD cooperate was the problem. I have supported HD for over 20 years and taken up for them many times. The first time I has an issue the people proved me wrong. I just can't support a company that doesn't care about their customer/family any more than that. To make it worse they even made the dealership pay for half of the motor repair after the trade. My wife and I both rode Harleys. We both ride Indians now. Between the bikes and apparel went spent tens of thousands of dollars each year. So for the cost of a motor they lost all our revenue. Don't quite understand that business logic. Everyone has a right to buy what they want, but this family stopped drinking the Kool aid.
It is all good in a country where you have dealership support. In South Africa that is 1600miles long and 1600+ miles wide, we have ONE Indian dealership. I am based 1000 miles away from that dealership. I would never be able to ride my Indian with peace of mind. We have at least 6 or 7 HD outlets in a 50 mile radius where I live. All well established and well run. Never had warrant issues with any HD outlet here. Indian just does not have the world-wide capacity that HD offers. It's OK in the USA, UK or Western Europe but here in Africa they will not survive.
I'm looking to get a bagger next I have an original 94 Heritage that's never given me a bit of trouble however I live down in Florida and the bike is a little too small to keep up with the traffic down here on the highways and I'd like to go on Long rides for the weekend so I'm looking for a bagger and I am having a hard time choosing between the Harley Challenger or the 117 Milwaukee eight Road Glide
And that Broman is why I never have and never will spend one cent on harley or anything harley related !!!! Have heard too many stories like yours from other people too . Sad that after they sell you an overpriced bike , you better HOPE nothing goes wrong , because if it does you might as well higher an attorney or you're gonna get screwed . It's a great American business model eh ? Oh wait probably not , seeings they're in dire straits again !! Just like when AMF/VOIT bought them out 🤨
Bought a Harley... Polaris did not have Indian brand yet just Victory ( like those) Since my road king is older and paid for with detachable can leave it stock or make it into an ultra for long trips best of both worlds and still cheaper then new
I think I remember the Challenger was on loan from the factory. I also remember that Harley, instead of giving Adam time to heal from his injury and putting his contract on hold, dumped Adam on his ass as soon as they caught wind that he couldn't be there poster boy anymore. I've been at brand-loyal Harley-Davidson rider for 20 years and that alone made me consider getting a challenger at the beginning of next year
So your saying, spend an additional 5-10 thousand dollars on aftermarket parts for the Harley so then it will ride and perform better than the Indian . Not everybody gets their aftermarket parts free.
Spend thousands of dollars on a HD for what Indian does out of the box. A more accurate comparison would have been stock vs. stock. Actually, that would not have been fair either...to the HD. I will be buying the "loser" of your decision this year. Ride safe
So, what you're basically saying is "I dumped well over $15k into this Road Glide in order to make it work for me. Since it does work exactly the way I want it to, I'll get rid of the Indian." I cannot fault your logic, but most people here will take it as a Harely win in an Indian cs Harely comparison. Objectively, I'd say you're making HD look bad, because you are admitting that you had to dump CVO money (and maybe more) into your Road Glide to make it a worthy comparison to the Challenger.
Well hes is comparing it to a 2020 and a 2017 so yes there is gonna be a big difference. Really hes gonna choose harley all day cause that's what he likes and that's alot of what made him famous. Especially when he has rode to every harley in the country you cant really be mad at him for it. It's just his thoughts.
@@pigpen9292 I agree. If you put the same amount into the challenger it would blow harley out of the water. I'm planning on getting a challenger down the road when I see a used one in my price range
Your decision didn’t surprise me with everything you’ve added to the H-D to meet your riding comfort. On the cultural side, I’ve found I can go to any HD event and they welcome you...you may get ribbed a little.😂 I’ve also converted several HD riders over to Indian after going to some HD events, showing and talking about the reason I switched to Indian 👍
@4The2nd I have owned and ridden H-D for fifty years as of last Nov. H-D mktg. dept. are geniuses. Only company that can sell a $30-40 K motorcycle and immediately sell "performance upgrades" that the bike should have from the factory. But, again, only company that can sell a ten dollar t-shirt for forty dollars. I don't own Harley t-shirts. I don't drink the red Kool-Aide.
bobberguy1 look what Polaris did with the TS111 engines when they introduced cams and a 116 big bore kit. Also go price tee shirts at your local Indian dealership. While at the moment it’s true Harley doesn’t a out the door performance bike the Challenger but the M8s hold their own against the TS111 and TS 116 models
Sir I must say I applaud you for this video, it's never easy to choose when you simply just love to ride. But all of your points were spot on, so I definitely think you made the right decision.
Consumer point of view: stock v stock: Indian. From a business (CZcams and endorsements) point of view: H-D. Got to go where the money is. At this point, it's about $.
Hmmm watch those consumer stat numbers, HD falling sharply and Indian growing rapidly. You have an amazing Chieftain DH Indian so can market to both markets BUT.... Challenger sales will outpace Chieftain
Exactly this. Stock vs stock Indian hammer Harley. His Harley is a fantastic bike but it’s got a huge spend on it to make it as good as the stock Indian. Not many can afford that. Not many can even afford the bikes!
Good choice for the Channel! But I could tell it was for the Channel ONLY!! Ride on and ride safe! Praying for you all!! Be Blessed!! And Katie and I hope to stop by sometime and meet you all!
Adam, I've ridden both bikes, and like you, I agree they are both an exceptional ride. But, the HD culture (and dealer support) is unmatched. I can't wait to see your next bike ... Ride on!
Besides being a Harley fan for over 30 years my dealership rocks . I've never had a problem with warranty work and always get top dollar for my trade . Smoky Mountain Harley does alot for charity in the community and takes care of their customers. Harley all the way brother. God Bless
Don't forget the shed at smhd it's fun times me and the wife went up not to long ago on my 2018 FXBR Breakout 107 and loved it and you gotta love the snake ride roads.
Honestly not the decision I would've made, If you are looking for more connected experience where a bike is a bike I would go with a Harley but like a Road king or maybe a Heritage softail. If you are looking for a truly better touring bike hands down its the Challenger. I also think you should do a drag race pitting each bike against each other before you let the Challenger go and see which one is actually faster, I have a hard time believing the Roadglide is actually faster.
I just purchased the dark horse challenger and I believe the aftermarket will catch up eventually but I get your choice. I’m not brand specific between the two, just ride.
Brother I love what your doing for fellow veterans. Respectfully the only reason you chose that Road Glide is because you had to put all of the aftermarket parts on it and beef the engine up to do what the Indian does stock. You need to link up with Lloyd’s and see what he does for Indians. This is the first year for that motor wait til he or Andrews makes cams for that a tuner and other things it will smoke that HD. This is one of the reasons Indian does not need a lot of aftermarket parts. I had two Harley’s and my 18 Vintage is the only bike I don’t need or want to put a bunch of stuff on it. As far as the community if they judge you for the bike you ride then they aren’t people I need or want around me. It’s all about the 2 wheel community. I think you should have kept the Challenger to many potential opportunities in the future for that motor. But I will still watch for the Chieftain videos and other things you do. Also work with Ciro 3 to make more stuff for the Indian.
I knew you would go this way Adam, I understand your situation but if the HD people aren’t watching your videos you had no other choice to keep the Harley, all the best from Australia 👍
Kinda seems from what I've seen is that harley didnt see your value and when they turned there back indian seemed to show you a lot of love... only have my perspective from your videos so idk if that is truly accurate. At the end of the day choosing one or the other is a good problem to have. I will continue to watch regardless #1stworldproblems
Hey Adam I love watching you guys but you did say one thing I have to disagree with bud . The two bikes be similar in price!!! Ok stock to stock maybe but after you add all those aftermarket parts and labor to that Road glide to make it equally as good as the Challenger it will be way more money out of pocket....... Keep being you bro ! Awesome channel
You know I was never really a Harley fan. They are noisy, vibrate like hell and seem difficult to handle until I rode my son’s Street Glide. Fell in love with the brand, super comfortable too. So I traded my BMW K1600GT for a Harley Ultra Glide Limited what can I say? I’ve seen the Iight.
@@andrewfrye1703 In 58 years I have never wanted a Harley bad enough to buy one.. but if you want to give me one I would happily accept one.. Then I could be cool and all the Babes would check me out when they hear that V Twin sound ..
I've been riding Harleys a long time . But I decided two years ago to try something completely different. After a lot of research, I bought a Ducati Multistrada. It opened my eyes to a completely new experience. The power and handling are incredible. I still love my softail, it's my hot rod. But the riding position and suspension make the Ducati a fun bike you can ride long distance. It's cool to have the option of two completely different bikes.
Brother for you I think you are making the absolute best decision. For me on the other hand, a guy that has been rocking a 99 roadking for the past 20yr. I am going with the Challenger because it's right up there with the hoggs and for a trucker like me that just wants to come home and unwind with the wifey on the back and wants the best bang for my buck stock, I may do a little tinkering here and there but after getting used to the looks, I like the feel and fit of the Challenger as is. Already have financing lined up, just waiting to see if I can get a little bit of a better deal here I. A month or so since the economy is about to decline a bit.
Want to ride. Not concerned what others choose. HD great but my roadmaster is my choice. You put so much work to make you ride yours, you have to go withHD. Ride what you love.
Please understand that I think of you as a friend (like minded), even though we have only met once. But to say that I am disappointed would be putting it mildly. You made it pretty clear that your choice was for the good of your channel. I just hate it when business gets in the way of things sometimes. I feel pretty certain that you had to factor in how many subscribers you might loose if you got rid of the Harley. This culture that surrounds the Harley brand is only loyal to those that don't drift away or leave the "heard". I am a loyal subscriber and will remain so. Rock on brother!
I like your choice! Totally agree with your decision! I would have made it mostly on the Harley culture-they rally round when someone needs help and they do throw a great party!😎😎
You made the right decision. The sheer quantity of parts and accessories available to customize ever aspect of the Harley touring lineup will never ever be matched by the Polaris/Indian marketplace. Haters gonna hate. 🤷♂️
Man your butt must be raw from straddling that fence!!! 🤣🤣🤣 You sound like me and my brother wrapped up in one! I have an Ultra Classic and he has a Roadmaster. God bless you my friend.
You made an intelligent and informed decision! No argument there. Good choice. Next up I’d love to see you on an adventure bike. You talked about the Africa Twin, but maybe the Triumph Tiger, or the popular BMW GS. Definitely the largest growing motorcycle genre right now. Looking forward to whatever is next!
@@adamsandoval just dont get the bmw...its a good bike no doubt, but its so ugly and over here in germany they are everywhere 😲 maybe wait for the husqvarna norden!?
Being a long distance traveler, the dealership network is HUGE. I had a breakdown last Aug in what I thought was the middle of nowhere. Checked around and there was an HD dealer 8 miles away. Long story short, I was back on the road in less than 6 hour. I doubt we can say that about Indian at this time.
Hey @vintage304 HD did not Drop Adam they offered him a new Contract that said he could not even be caught in a photo sitting on any other Brand of Bike..
I would love to know what the cost was for aftermarket additions on the Road Glide to make it comparable to the Challenger that could be a game changer for somebody shopping around great video
Adam as a long distance rider several things come to mind. 1. Can I easily get the parts, add ons, etc. to make the bike fit me for the long haul. 2. When things go rong on a trip or a part fails where can I get it serviced quickly. At this point in time that is Harley Davidson. Indian, if it can stick around, remember Victory, could be the better choice in the future. But not now. If you ride around town and stick fairly close to the dealer you purchased your Indian from then it's a different story. My 2 cents. PS. I think you made the right choice for the way ride and use the bke.
I really appreciate your videos, especially this video. The point that resonates with me most is the more bang for your buck right from the dealership. I’m just a motorcycle enthusiast and rider. I don’t have a lot of money. But when I buy I look for my money to go a long way. I will definitely be purchasing the Indian Challenger. I ride alone due to my work schedule. I feel immersed in the greater motorcycle culture. And Indian motorcycle culture is continuing to grow. Thanks again. Be safe in your continued adventures. Blessings.
In all honesty I feel you made excellent points and arguments about both bikes. However, if you are a struggling parent like myself who hopes to one day to be able to ride again and share that feeling of freedom with your children, I think either of those two would be a great choice. Both are great brands and have excelled in their own; but at the end of the day it's all about which one you can afford. Unfortunately for me, I dream of a bagger, but in no way could I afford one so it's all about the cheapest I can find and neither of these brands are cheap enough. Again though, both are fantastic bikes! Long term future goals lol! Keep up the great work and great content that you do! I always enjoy your videos!
I think you had a concise breakdown of pros and cons for each bike and ultimately comfort based on the customization you have done to the Road Glide won out. I know this is was a very hard choice, because a lot of your subscriber base are brand specific riders, and in a world were majority usually wins you made the right choice. But in keeping multiple brands in your garage you still offer those other riders unbiased comparison views. As a HD Street Glide rider, I only hope HD brings some of the new technology shown in the Indian to their platform of bikes. Keep up the great work.
Adam, you should get a BMW R1250 GS Adventure fully loaded. It is the number one best sold long distance bike worldwide. Every true long distance rider should have one in his garage. Keep the wheels rolling!
Get the culture bit, but a wholly personally customized HD vs a stock Challenger doesn’t really tell anyone how much it cost to get your HD to a level that would get you to chose it over the Indian.
Adam, first, as a Harley enthusiast, I would love to see you get hold of Harley's Pan America Adventure bike when it rolls out later this year. That would open up a whole new world for you, your followers & your channel. Second, what you are doing with Kriver and veterans is very special. I know it is a big headache but it would be nice to raffle the Challenger and use the proceeds to expand/improve Kriver as well as donate to programs assisting our first responders & wounded veterans. Causes like these are even more critical in times like we now find ourselves. Thanks for what you do. Keep up the great work and safe travels.
I would also choose the Harley. I have owned so many bikes. I've been riding non stop since 1974. BMW's, Triumphs, Hondas, Suzukis and what not. I still own a late model BMW Liquid Cooled Boxer and 2014 103 cu Harley. Harleys are just special. The cool factor and the sound is addictive. The fact that you can enjoy just idling along and enjoying the scenery two-up or take to the open road for a 1000 mile round tri, makes it a versatile and lovable bike. I am not into customising except for a Screamin Eagle Supertrapp pipe and the 103cu has enough power to get me anywhere at 80/90mph two up and loaded with lots of kit. The brand is 117 years old and a household name, world wide. Owning and enjoying a HD is special. The large cu Indians are lovely but an Indian will bever be a Harley.
Hey Adam, Here Carlos from Mexico City my man, I guess you took a wise decision for your particular purpose, your amazing channel, but I think is just a bit bittersweet one because, Harley Davidson let you down when you most needed them, and I don't think the brand deserves your loyalty, but... you have put a ton of work on that beautiful Road Glide, so enjoy your decision and your effort. And this is all you not the Harley Davidson brand, so once again enjoy the ride. Just a question if I may ask you... What's the model of your Klim gloves? Thank you Adam and God Bless You!!
I have to say I agree with B Rad, I am a Harley Guy, but I appreciate this past year of seeing you on the Indian motorcycle, I thought you provided all of us with a fair and honest review, not to mention some great information on specific features on the Indian. This was another great video and again you did a very good job of illustrating the good and the not so good about both the Harley and the Indian. I will say I have to agree 100% with your comparison and reasoning in this video. I think you are making the right choice for you and at the end of the day, we will all do the same.
I think you made the right choice. I was looking forward to meeting you here in Albuquerque. But hopefully I can make it out to your campground soon. Keep up the good work I really enjoy your videos...
For your brand and channel like you stated it was the best informed decision. You have a greater access to the people you want to touch with the H-D dealer network. Best decision for your brand by far.
Wise choice. I tested the Indian Challenger last weekend. Alot of power and a good well balanced bike. But as you say, its doesn't feel like riding a Harley. I wanted to like the Indian but in my opinion, the overall feel, experience and love is the Harley.
I'm all about my Springfield Darkhorse..... And you should reevaluate the power. I don't see how 114 air-cooled bike can make more power then a 108 liquid cooled.... And as for customisation there are 1/2 a dozen custom shops out there making beautiful parts for the Indians.... Giving s shout out to KST customs. All and all I was looking forward to seeing you're channel this summer on the challenger, and seeing what customisations you come up with for it.... Guess not now. I can tell I don't want to see ANOTHER Harley rider this summer on CZcams. There are way too many....
Good Video, Looks like you made a business decision. The Culture of Motorcycling is what pays the bills... No one beats HD at that. So I can understand... I probably would've moved the Cheiftain down the road instead of the Challenger but I get it. Happy Riding!
Respectfully disagree.......but your blessed with having options....if I had to pick one, and dont have the funds to put into a Harley to make it competitive with everything you said Indian has over Harley....then for my money i would choose Indian...and that's coming from a diehard Harley only believer ince before...just my 2 cents...I'll continue to subscribe either way......but what works for you, may not work for the one bagger owner! Peace brother!
Thanks! With today's world environment, I appreciate what you are doing. I am a Veteran and currently work in a government position that is considered mission essential and we are looking 60 days out. I appreciate your mission and the content you share, please keep it coming.
Fact !! The choice was made based on viewer subscriptions. If it was me I would stay diverse and get rid of the Road King and let Ashley have the Challenger. Harley washed their hands of you and yet you still support them. Seems a bit unfair. You have a much longer list of pros for the Indian than your HD so I vote Ashley gets the Challenger.
Personally I'd dump the Chieftain. Wait to see what aftermarket has and hotrod the Challenger. Then I'd dump the old Fatboy in for a new one with a 131 HD under full warranty and do wheelies.
guysmiley his 2017 is already out of his factory warranty so that’s not applicable. Plus with his 2017 starting out as a 107” it had the 4-3/8” stroke so he can’t convert to the131”. He could do the 128” kit from HD though and get very comparable numbers with a good cam and tune.
in my opinion, you chose wisely. It IS about the culture if you plan on riding with or catering to people. I use to own a VTX1300C honda. It is a Great bike but theres no feeling of family except on Internet forums. No honda dealer will make you feel as welcomed as a Harley dealer will , in my opinion . Honda makes a great scoot, ...BUT”... I have a far superior time on my 99’ Ultra Classic due to ,everywhere i go, I’m part of a family!! And that IS due to the Harley-Davidson culture. They’re welcoming to you no matter which bike you own! Ride into my local store or one two states away, and you get the same welcoming feeling. Indian makes an incredibly beautiful bike. Solid, well made machine . BUT the FAMILY feeling just ain’t there. (In my opinion ) Enjoy The Road Glide, and safe travels......
Glad I didn’t have to make that decision. If in doubt keep em both. Can’t wait to follow your adventures this year. I am Coronavirus’ed out for sure. Everything is in lockdown right now here in New York State and need some distraction. Keep em comin Bud. Thanks
The only statement you made is that you had to more money in the hardly to get where you wanted it to perform plus and be comfy plus the price of the bike . Which comes almost standard on the Indian. In my opinion
I would have given up the Chieftain. But that’s not the option you presented. You didn’t even mention liquid cooled versus air cooled for hot riding and traffic situations. I think the Challenger vs the Chieftain should have been the comparison. You point about the road king conversion makes it more like 3 fixed fairings to one batwing is a good point. I love the channel and hope to get out to a few events once COVID-19 is better understood. In the mean time stay safe and healthy and I’m really happy you continue to produce videos during these times. I ride a 19 SGS with a stage 4 and will be putting a Thundermax on soon.
I think you choice was very intelligent. You can’t replace the Harley support and culture. I truly hope Harley takes note that the Indian is a superior bike and makes some huge upgrades. The culture of Harley can only hold on so long if they continue to be outperformed. I would be interested in you riding an electric bike for a while and giving us an honest view of practicality.
I understand your choice but your next bike should be something small and sporty. I sugest the 2020 Indian scout bobber. Super light easy to manuver and with upgrades really quick. I live in the mountains and this bike handles very well. There is only 2 upgrades being air intake and 2 into 1 pipe but combined it gives 10% more HP. I've got the OD Green one and love it.
Why not get rid of the chieftain? Sorry, but this doesn’t make any sense to me. With the kind of mileage you’ve got coming up a newer, more reliable, less stressed(no performance upgrades)bike would have been perfect.
I call BS on this video. It’s clear that the challenger was never your bike to begin with. You made a video about a contrived comparison so that you could give the challenger back. The channel is becoming an advertising channel for engine oil, helmets, what have you. Very little to do with riding.
You're a moron! There's no arguing Adam's character and heart for veterans & this country. Take a chill Harris. It's one thing to disagree and another to defame someone's character. Jeez Louise!
I personally think that you made the right decision. I like alot of the features that Indian offers but they remind me of matchbox car and a little toyish. It is like comparing a new sports car to the 60's muscle cars. They both have their benefits but the old muscles are just classic and timeless.

Unfortunately, with the disrespect I see so many HD riders give to riders of other bikes, i can leave the culture behind.
Frfr disrespectful as fuck. Mfs act like we’re not humans. I’m like damn I can’t afford an HD and I’m just happy to be riding.
you are crazy keep them both build a bigger garage!

Unfortunately Harley is doing what every big company does, and that’s putting share holders first and customers second.

Exactly! Prices are similar, but the Indian is ready to roll while the HD is getting upgraded, lights, suspension and motor work.
Since it does work exactly the way I want it to, I'll get rid of the Indian."
I cannot fault your logic, but most people here will take it as a Harely win in an Indian cs Harely comparison. Objectively, I'd say you're making HD look bad, because you are admitting that you had to dump CVO money (and maybe more) into your Road Glide to make it a worthy comparison to the Challenger.
FACTS!!!
If they were both stock would the choice still be for the culture or comfort
Well hes is comparing it to a 2020 and a 2017 so yes there is gonna be a big difference. Really hes gonna choose harley all day cause that's what he likes and that's alot of what made him famous. Especially when he has rode to every harley in the country you cant really be mad at him for it. It's just his thoughts.
Imagine what an additional 15k can do with the Challenger.
@@pigpen9292 I agree. If you put the same amount into the challenger it would blow harley out of the water. I'm planning on getting a challenger down the road when I see a used one in my price range
I ride an Indian and I think you made the right choice...bigger following with Harley and a lot more support currently.
I knew you'd pick the black one.
True Statement!
lmfao... I thought it but didn't think to actually type it out. Good on ya haha
No SHIT Me 2 👊
Good choice I am a Harley rider and I have looked at Indians many times, but my Harley and I are one
Comparable price. Indian has better performance, better frame, better suspension and better braking. Why buy Indian?
But if you are a CZcamsr, you don't dare leave the Harley "cult" and not pay a price for it.
FHO ATLANTA, GA. Thank you sir. I could have kept them both for my 2020 but I can only take so many bikes on long trips in a year.
The culture and the Harley network in my opinion put them over the top at this point.
You made an intelligent business choice. Take advantage of what you have built into the HD community. Live it up bro.
Not America v twin..
@@evoharley3047 Eh?
Coming from a guy that rides a Triumph..............You are right to keep the Harley...!
God Bless
Roy Jenkins That’s an awesome dealership period! I’m from RI and that Dealership will get my business when it’s time to purchase again 👌
@@roadglide1142 That's great and it is an awesome place my friend.
Don't forget the shed at smhd it's fun times me and the wife went up not to long ago on my 2018 FXBR Breakout 107 and loved it and you gotta love the snake ride roads.
@@solomonscroggs278 no doubt, the dragon my friend.
Just simply “Thank You”, Adam! I needed something 2-wheel related to give me a break from all this craziness, and you delivered! Thank you, brutha.
Corey Stebbins I think the aftermarket game will grow but I don’t see it happening for my 2020 plans.
You made the right choice! Replace it with another Roadking or a street glide
Adam you NEVER get rid of a bike, just add on to your garage space ! Every man should own as many motorcycles as he can afford ! Lol
Absolutely I sold one and regret it
He who dies with the most toys wins !
I don't care what you ride Adam, just keep doing what you are doing. Stay safe.
I knew you would go this way Adam, I understand your situation but if the HD people aren’t watching your videos you had no other choice to keep the Harley, all the best from Australia 👍
Good choice Adam. Dealer network and the H-D community are big factors. Much nicer looking bike and better finish also.
Creature comforts on the road always make the most sense, especially as much travel as you do my man
For the growth of your CZcams channel subscribers you made the right choice
Kinda seems from what I've seen is that harley didnt see your value and when they turned there back indian seemed to show you a lot of love... only have my perspective from your videos so idk if that is truly accurate. At the end of the day choosing one or the other is a good problem to have. I will continue to watch regardless #1stworldproblems
Good choice staying with the Road Glide! You still have two touring bikes, go with a custom chopper for the next one.
Definitely the right choice for the right reasons plan and simple
Adam, one reason you said one had to go was space. But you are going to add one back?
Lane Hollar yes I want to add another non bagger and I don’t have room for it (garage and in schedule) without getting rid of one.
Best choice!..
Theres 2 types of people. People who want a harley and people who dont know that they want a harley!
@@andrewfrye1703 In 58 years I have never wanted a Harley bad enough to buy one.. but if you want to give me one I would happily accept one.. Then I could be cool and all the Babes would check me out when they hear that V Twin sound ..
I traded my cvo road glide for BMW K1600B. Fantastic bike. Never looked back.
I think I understand why you made the call you did and I would have done the same thing. That said, it doesn't speak well of the HD culture.
Well put together adam. Very valid points made about the two. You made the right decision in my opinion. Love my 2020 rg limited
Business is business. You have so much invested in the Road Glide. You should keep it.
You made the right decision. The sheer quantity of parts and accessories available to customize ever aspect of the Harley touring lineup will never ever be matched by the Polaris/Indian marketplace. Haters gonna hate. 🤷♂️
I'll give you a couple more years and you'll be back on that Challenger. :-)
anything is possible 🤷♂️
Man your butt must be raw from straddling that fence!!! 🤣🤣🤣 You sound like me and my brother wrapped up in one! I have an Ultra Classic and he has a Roadmaster. God bless you my friend.
You made an intelligent and informed decision! No argument there. Good choice. Next up I’d love to see you on an adventure bike. You talked about the Africa Twin, but maybe the Triumph Tiger, or the popular BMW GS. Definitely the largest growing motorcycle genre right now. Looking forward to whatever is next!
Tobias Williamson Thanks brother. That adventure game is more and more appealing.
I ride a 2018 Triumph tiger 1200 absolutely love it.
@@adamsandoval just dont get the bmw...its a good bike no doubt, but its so ugly and over here in germany they are everywhere 😲

Because the Indian won’t break down lol
I would have stayed with Indian , Harley dropped you when your cards were down aka shoulder surgery. There not loyal to you why be loyal to them 🤷♂️
Because the Harley "cult" would have gone crazy.
Exactly
Because they are a business not a charity.
Hey @vintage304 HD did not Drop Adam they offered him a new Contract that said he could not even be caught in a photo sitting on any other Brand of Bike..
Mike Skidmore that was a long time ago, they dropped him last year when he couldn’t ride.
Good stuff! Love your videos and the great points you make! Very helpful!
Dude two wheels are two wheels I have a HD I love it. But I'm up to buying different brands and riding different brands. Really enjoy your videos.
I absolutely agree with you. It is all about individual rider and what they are looking to get from bike
It's impressive how cool and modern the FXRT fairing looks compared to the newer ones! It was designed in the early 80's!
Passion above the hype - you made the right decision! just don’t let anyone tell you different
Derald Groth Some people love it and some hate on it but I always do what I think is best.
The number one reason i have a harley is the customizability. So much anyone can do to the bike and easy to get parts.
Blessings.
Thanks for tuning in 👊🏼
Good choice!
Does rear suspension travel change when you upgrade the shocks? Road Glide and Street Glide only have 2.5" right?
Good Choice !!!
And why ask us which one, when you've already picked the one your getting rid of?
Myron Grant he’s making another video to get views and get paid from the views and subscription’s.
Just like to hear your thoughts!
Jason McKinney and what’s wrong with that?
Gary Nykolaishen haha. Ashley loves her bike.
@@revilok8698 I believe I said buy a new fatboy (114) and that would be 131, and that would be covered.
in my opinion, you chose wisely.
(In my opinion )
Enjoy The Road Glide, and safe travels......
Adam,
I WANT an Indian REAL bad. I sold my StreetBob.
I'm without 2 wheels.
I need a SideCar. I have PARKINSON'S DISEASE. I enjoy your videos.
JS
I saw one years ago with sidecar controls...
That Challenger seems nice, but I sure do love my 2019 Road Glide Special.
When it comes to HD, customization and swag nothing compares....! Its the spirit of HD like a classis Caddy it's like no other...!
Im A Harley guy, Obviously I like your choice. And your right, It has to be YOUR choice!
Sell the Road Glide and the Chieftain keep the Challenger! Then buy a 2020 Road Glide CVO.
I never thought of that but i think he chose the road glide so he didn't have to start all over.
Good choice Adam gotta keep the Harley
Why not get rid of the chieftain? Sorry, but this doesn’t make any sense to me. With the kind of mileage you’ve got coming up a newer, more reliable, less stressed(no performance upgrades)bike would have been perfect.
Interesting video....In your situation, I'd probably make the same choice...Thanks for the video and for what you do for our Vets. Well done!
Warren Beers Thanks man,
I call BS on this video.
