A crossover I wasn't expecting but makes total sense.
They surprisingly work well enough together.
spot on hahaha
My thoughts exactly 😯
They're long-lost brothers lmao
Absolutely and I'm extremely delighted 🥰
I tested a draft edit of this on a friend and he said that all the comments would be about my singing.
Not one.
I, for one, think your singing was very nice.
@@pavelstaravoitau7106 Thank you. One.
I mean, you killed it with a show-stopping number.
Came for the crossover, stayed for the surprisingly good Arnie impression.
..this is ..the comment I was looking for.
You came for a surprisingly long time and stayed only a short while. Are you by any chance a pig?
Yes, surprisingly good. I was slightly disturbed by Lloyd's co-star speaking with Lloyd's voice at the start... most perplexing.
@@JesseP.Watson I was actually thinking "Great disguise L ! Wow, the beard and hair are very convincing...but why ginger?
@@PaulojnPereira Aye, I thought Lloyd had overdubbed his own voice over the other fella.
It was, 'If you're in an Edgy Student Short, you might have minutes to live' that got me XD
I know a visual effects expert who said that he's up for a collaboration. He has ginger hair. One day, perhaps, we can have all of you in one video, and never mention it.
@@lindybeige sounds like a plan to me 🙂
@@lindybeige The Red-Headed League
ABK, Lindybeige AND Jill Bearup in one comment - I have died and gone to Heaven!
Always amazing to see actors making sacrifices for their art. Speaking French must have taken its toll on Lloyd.
Meh, 'ennui' has been in the English language for so long it is no longer French. (Pardon my swearing)
My father passed last week and this was the first time I laughed, let alone smiled, since then. Thank you!
Lloyd dressed as terminator looks like an absolutely stone cold killer.
I would love to see a Terminator movie starring Lloyd.
yeah the fuzzy beard really sells it
His Arnold impression was spot on too
He looked like Léon. Very cool.
Nah, the Stone Cold (1991) guy wore a fancy black duster-like thingy
Lindybeige with a pistol in a leather jacket and aviator glasses doing an Arnold impression is just something I couldn't expect even in my wildest fever dreams.
It must be 17 years since I've experienced a crossover that was so ambitious and delightful!
I say, are you feeling allright? you appear to be coming down with a case of protagonistia..
Of course since then you went off and made a big splash on youtube.
Sinultaneously King's longest video and Lindy's shortest.
Lindybeige is THE MOST convincing zombie I have ever seen in my life.
zombeige
Disturbingly good... Do we need to show someone else this video within a week or ElBee will crawl out of our laptop screens?
In THAT sweater?
Genuinely disconcerting
Even more so in the bedroom scene.
This is why I'm happy to be a supporting cast member. I never bolt upright when waking up, and people forget I exist the moment I leave their field of view.
I can imagine few things more vividly than these two writing this over a cup of tea.
I know! One cup of tea!
And thinking how silly this is only to do it anyways
@@clogs4956 I think "a cuppa" isn't necessarily singular.
Don't be silly....
The cupp'a is only a random probablilty generator!
That.. would explain all of this, actually.
3:10 I do love a bit of Alasdair King-Beckett
I sort of expected that it would end by you two waking up next to each other, because in the end it was a romcom all along. :D
Then it wouldn't be a romcom, it would be a Morecambe and Wise sketch.
Spooning.
0:40 I'm dying. This crossover felt so natural, honestly you two make a good duo
I feel like this is a collaboration we never knew we needed
They're long-lost Brothers actually
I *always* knew I needed it 😳
The crossover no one expected but everyone agrees was essential to humanity.
Very neat to see both of these guys together. I hope to see more soon.
I definitely got some Monty Pyhton vibes from them together.
Right! No time to lose.
Monty Python would be spinning in his grave, but proud as punch! You both turned into newts, but got better!!! More, please!!!
Racist
Ni!
A bit of Fry and Laurie in there too
The 2nd "In this jumper" caught me off guard and gave me a very good laugh - Great sketch
A crossover between LindyBeige and The Interdimentional ABK? Christmas came *really* early this year!
Christmas Pig be thanked!
bollocks
or it came very late last year
Usually christmas comes once a year.
This could be one of those rare dual christmas years.
Leap Christmas?
This kinda reminds me of Stranger than fiction with Will Farrel, specifically the scene where Dustin Hoffman's character tries to figure out what story is Ferrell's character is from by asking several weird questions.
Everyone knows thar Alasdair Beckett-King is the sole performer in his sketches. Does that mean tha Lindybeige is just one of his characters? To be fair I am not surprised. That explains a lot actually
Love the little detail of the zombie beginning to say protagonist - "Proooo"
This is the best example of mental gibberish I've ever seen!
This has big early CZcams vibes- back in the days when people would just make silly sketch videos like this all the time, with two or three friends and a crazy premise. The production quality is quite a bit better though, of course!
Sometimes disparate corners of my internet meet and leave me questioning if they are doing this for my sake. Like some real life protagonist shit.
The joys of subscribing to Lloyd. You never know what you are going to get. A long rant? A visit to some ruins? Philosophy? Music? Dance? History video? Or whatever this was
Okay, this plastered a huge smile on my face, well played gentlemen!
Dr. Sketchy: "Father!"
Protagonist: "Nephew!"
Me: Even British Royal family trees don't work like *that* last I checked.
Mother of God, I did NOT expect ABK!!! This was a terrific sketch and I want to see more!
No one expects the ABK
The end cards clearly say he's AKB
@@AgentTasmania That's part of his cunning disguise!
@@daveandgena3166 Mr Beckett-King has become the King-Beckett!
@@AgentTasmania Alasdair Keckett-Bing has been ripping off ABK's social standing for decades now
The only thing this sketch lacks is David Bowie pointing wildly and yelling: "We live inside a dream!"
I would suggest inviting James Shakeshaft for that role
"Breathe deep...the gathering gloom
Lindybeige portrays a different character in every room
Bedsitter people sit back and lament
Why THEY didn't come up with this thought experiment"
--The Moody Blues
very funny, excellent work both of you!
Holy Crap! That was unexpected. Lindy Beige and ABK! CZcams has not been throwing him my way recently. He was replaced by that red-headed Scottish tour guide impersonator whose characters are all called Craig, so I hadn't noticed quite yet. This was very good. Especially the Arnie impression.
I miss her garden wildlife series.
I don't know what I just watched... But I loved every second of it.
This is metacomedy at its best.
this was great!
i think every member of the cast deserves their own cup of tea
That was fantastically horrific in all of the right ways for all of the wrong reasons. bravo.
2:38 I didn’t know how much I needed Lindy to play Arnold until I saw it!
I was waiting for him to say, “GET TO THE CHOPPER!”
This is the crossover I didn't know I needed.
The collaboration we didn't know we wanted, but which we always knew we needed.
Maybe the real protagonist was the friend we made along the way.
2:51 Spiffy outfit.
Great sketch.
I laughed so hard my pneumonia disappeared, thanks!
Total genius. In all genres.
I was hoping to see a bit where you have your own theme music emanating from an unknown source whenever you enter the room, but I guess that only happens to me.
I always love some good ol' British humour! I had a good laugh, just what I needed today!
Pleasantly surprising crossover! Had me laughing till I teared up. 😂
Life is a big comedy sketch. Well done Lindy!
The crossover I didn't know I needed, but have been missing all my life
Truly ambitious and, dare I say, successful.
That was utterly creative and brilliant!
This was so good that, for 3 minutes & 19 seconds, I forgot all about *_”In Search of Hannibal”_*
I need my graphic novel, Lloyd!😩😩😅😅 ((I know it’s a massive undertaking, my friend))
That was amazing. ABK really nailed the Lindybeige costume in this one.
The production value is off the charts. Glad i saw it.
Riveting to watch in it's entirety.
The perfect crossover definitely does exist, and I think this may be it
"Cudley" Kenny Everett comes to mind. He also had a tendancy for bizzare tangients into the dressing up box.
THIS COLLAB MAKES SO MUCH SENSE
Ahh yes. The musical we've all been waiting for.
I’ve been sick in bed and this very nearly killed me from making me laugh but great job. A cross over I didn’t know I wanted
LOL. That was great. Love seeing this collab with Alasdair!!!
OMG, I want more of ActionLoyd! 😀
Chronic, acute, comic genius!
Some fantastic and extremely funny writing topped off with some Oscar worthy acting - loved it 👌😂
I do so love it when two CZcamsrs who's work I enjoy do a worthwhile crossover as a total surprise.
Lovely stuff.
Now I don't know, Techmoan and I drive a classic
This was priceless.
Yeah, this is what writing “Homecoming” is like. Well played, in all senses implied or otherwise.
the outstanding ABK demonstrating just how interdimensional he really is
I wanted this crossover the moment I discovered ABK. This made my evening :)
Good day to you, kind sirs!
I was not expecting Lindybeige to be so versatile. I laughed, I cried, I learned about myself and grew as a person. Tomorrow is a brighter day.
Brilliant, the good 'ole Lindy-Lloyd crossover. Ta Mr Beige, enjoyed it.
Honestly the two of you jive perfectly in style.
I never thought I knew I needed this. I'm so glad for it!
This was absolutely fantastic. Congratulations to both! Well written, funny and well played
This was really weird, and brilliant. I don't know if I am awake now.
The seperate chairs made me almost think they were the same person (Producer guy, Movie pitchmeeting)
or wonder whose channel I was on.
And just one cup of tee, for you both. Two man, one cup?
That was amazing! Two of my favourite channels collaborating and producing an amazing sketch!
Well. That was... absolutely batshit crazy. 😆
I never imagined this would happen. But now I have seen it, it makes complete sense.
It was very brave of you both to admit authorship of this...work. 😉
Have always loved the bits right at the end. This one made me laugh out loud! Excellent work much appreciated
Loved the sketch but that was , without doubt , the best Arnold Schwarzenegger impression I've ever heard .
We really needed a dose of surreal comedy.
Noir in that jumper? Absolutely in the nordics! It's kind of a requirement actually.
I laughed really loud at the romcom bit, which became even more i appropriate as the sketch went on!
Good old British Humor. Feels like a Monty Python revival :)
Two things:
1. Now I need an action film where the main character looks like xou and wears _this_ jumper. I mean, cannot get worse than Nick Cage as an action hero, right? It is worth a shot.
2. You only had one armchair, didn't you?
1. I'm not lending him my jumper.
2. Yes.
@@lindybeige
I can see it: a jumper heist action movie with a lot of entertaining explosions. Maybe we can add a tank. That's it! It happens in a tank museum.
The entire sketch was clever and amusing, but the Arnie impression really put it over the top.
Thanks for being so hilarious yet on point in your satire.
Wow, all two British CZcamsrs, finally working together!
Oh don't be mean, there are at least 4!
Finally, a youtube production using a proper blank gun, a mark of quality
As much as I hate musicals, I think that's the genre I'd want to be stuck in...everything else just feels like it involves a lot of running in the rain.
Singin' in the Rain
@@MeltedMask yeah, but that's just one. I mean, I don't want to end up in Sweeny Todd either, but overall I have better odds in musicals. lol
@@ericheckenkamp6091 But you could land on Disney remake/lifeaction musical. You should be terrified. 😏
Man I love ABK, this is great 😂
I think I speak for all of us when I say, bloody well done. Also, What did I just watch?
That Terminator impression was perfect!
I hate these kinds of dreams.
When you wake up as normal and go about the day.
And then in the middle of it, you wake up and think "that was weird".
And so you go about your day, but can't quite shake the feeling that something is vaguely off.
Then the mug in your hands turn to melting chocolate, and in chock you wake up.
And so you go about your day, never knowing if you're still dreaming or not.
Never losing the feeling that somehow, nothing is at it should be.
Nothing feels real.
Great vid.
Well... certainly unexpected and remarkably delightful.
I cannot say how much I love this
....except...
...I sort of *did* say how much I love it, by implication, so...
Such fun seeing a little changeup of style and a cool crossover, love it
This video is three times longer that ABK's normal stuff and ten times shorter than LB's normal stuff.
I'm here for it.
This is entirely unexpected, entirely random, and entirely delightful!
2:08 ''Or much more likely an a-a-mulet''
I think you two make a great duo!
