    It’s disappointing that they did not add Hall effect on joysticks like their joycons.

    Instant purchase. I was hoping you would touch on the size of the controller more but it looks bigger than most 3rd party. If it's equivalent to an Xbox controller, I'm good. I used your link too bro. Can't wait!

      BINBOK own DOYOKY. Nothing to do with NYXI but initially, they were pretty much using identical designs. (I won't speculate how that happened)

    I would probably get this controller if the D-pad looked similar to the classic Nintendo + pad or the Xbox + pad(like Xbox One, not the original or 360 pads). I just find those pads to be the best imo for precision and especially for fighters. But at least it's not a Sony pad lol.

    • @IceBlueLugia
      @IceBlueLugia Před 7 měsíci

      The Xbox d-pad is garbage though. That clicky feel is terrible for if you need quick movements. It’s cool for like Halo and stuff if all you do is just map infrequently used actions, but that’s about it. Pure garbage otherwise
      Also, rolling D-Pads are typically fantastic for fighters, like on the Genesis; feels like that’s what Xbox original and 360 may have been trying emulate, and what these controllers emulate too. They feel pretty awful for everything else though, including 2D platformers. I think Nintendo’s D-Pads (and 8BitDo’s) end up being the best in the end because of the fact that they’re good in every situation

    • @MKF30
      @MKF30 Před 7 měsíci

      *@IceBlueLugia* Sorry I should have specified which Xbox pad.... the Xbox ONE pad's are great, the original Xbox pads and 360 default controllers are bad I agree there but the Xbox One is a million times better than the PS pads. Sony by far has the worst of the big 3 imho, that diagonal space in between the up, down, left and right is horrible for fighting games, moves don't come out consistently and buffers are a pain. I see a lot of people complaining with MK and SF on PS as to why they use third party or sticks.
      I feel with Nintendo and Xbox especially when you compare their pads to Sony's, they're far superior. But early on Xbox pads weren't great at all.
      Rolling pads aren't always the best depending on the game for SF Genesis is more forgiving with games like SF but it's crap for MK, the SNES pad is a million times better of the two. It worked great for MK and SF alike, the moves came out more smoothly especially for MK.
      Yeah the 8bit do's which is pretty much the SNES pad and the classic Nintendo pads are easily the best all around. The plus icon gives the most precision when hit, especially with buffered moves as a fighting game guy this is crucial. The Sony pads almost rarely come out smoothly if at all.

      @Sapphire200 Před 7 měsíci

      @@IceBlueLugia strongly disagree haha, I can only play tetris and side scrollers with a clicky d-pad like the ones on the xbox one/series or better.
      I don't like mushy dpads at all and the Switch Pro Controller's must be the worst thing I've ever touched, which is a shame since the rest of it is pretty much perfect for me

      @@yuizen I’m not the biggest fan of the 8bitdo ultimate as I find the texture god-awful to hold for more than like 5 minutes; I just recommended it because it’s generally liked by everyone else and I can admit it does have great features, this is just an issue specific to me

    • @yuizen
      @yuizen Před 7 měsíci

      @@IceBlueLugia Good to know about the texture. I’m still currently looking for a controller with hall effect joysticks and trigger and back buttons. I don’t know why but there’s something that doesn’t feel right with 8bitdo ultimate for me despite of watching a bunch of good reviews about it both CZcamsrs and comments.
      I really want this controller but Binbok said it will take a few months before they release the Hall effect version of this one. I hope I can find controller soon. I don’t want to keep using my joycons as a controller anymore.

    A controller that has buttons on the back is not a comfortable controller. It's a controller that requires you to entirely change the way you grip it until you stop accidentally pressing them.
