I am jealous. In the U.S. bare feet are typically discouraged in many businesses including coffee houses. For some reason my having one leg and using one crutch barefoot seems to give me a pass most of the time. I am also impressed with the rocky surfaces you are navigating which would challenge my heavily calloused foot.
@paul-gv6hl I hope everyone and every location allow you to go barefoot. in Africa, I tend to get away with going barefoot too, but my husband doesn't.
@@barefoothomestead Wishful thinking but need to take advantage when I can. Women here also seem to be tolerated more than men which suggests some sort of a universality in play.

Fukata, it is true those rock did cause me to walk a little differently, lol. I do have less rocks to train my soles on here. We will try to capture that angle next time. Thanks for all your support!

Just like your previous house, put some small pebbles on the floor of you are hanging up the laundries, or the floors which you are cooking (outside?) to shortener toughening duration. @birneyallen6778 cockroaches are not welcome here and they make good chicken food so I squash and give to chickens...I don't look for and will never see any egg on them
