- I am so excited to share today's garden makeover update with you guys along with a few other budget friendly outdoor ideas! While most of this video is outside, I also sneak in a quick thrifty store visit and share some fun clothing finds with you as well!

I agree that the linen overalls are cute. I'd be inclined to wear them at home, however, to foray out into the community, I can understand Andrea's hesitation.
Gosh, you scored at the thrift store. Loving your clothing haul and I have a pair of overalls like you. My friend gifted them to me last summer. She had bought them for herself, without trying them on and they were too small.
Initially I was unsure but then I fell in love with them, as they’re so comfortable. I ended up wearing them non stop last summer and again they’re a favourite this year. Perfect for when your around the home, etc, as they’re really comfy. You should give them a go 😊
Love that you let the boys just romp in the stones. You're absolutely right: life is way too short. They'll remember these moments of pure silliness!
I love how creative you and your husband are. Anytime you can reuse stuff is wonderful. Like the idea of the gate to hide the garbage cans.

Oh my goodness. I loved every bit of this from start to finish. The beautiful raised beds and pea gravel, the homemade cake, your adorable plates and glasses, they boys covered in mud, the dog eared fence covering the trash cans, and the wonderful arch. It's all just beautiful and timeless. 💜💜💜

I loved that you reused the wood to hide the trash cans and I truly loved seeing the boys playing in the pea gravel. So sweet and brought back memories of my three brothers. Everything looks so adorable outside and inside.❤❤❤

Highly recommend to cut out the weed barrier from inside the raised beds I did the same and the veggies did not do well, we ended up scooping out the soil and cutting out the fabric had much better success, you are a wonderful family, really enjoy your videos

Look into square foot gardening for raised beds! It’s a neat way to maximize your space in your garden. I’ve been following this garden method for two years now!

I would plant a white or lavender climbing rose to cover the arbor. I bought one this year called Quick Silver and it's the softest lavender/mauve color and very trouble free. A soft colored climbing rose would compliment the color scheme you have and the color of your house and make such a beautiful entryway. Vicki

The outdoor area looks beautiful! Functional and relaxing. Not sure if you know the pea gravel can be hosed down to get the beautiful true colors. Have your herbs in one area and choose vegetables you eat the most. Can plant marigold s in the beds with the plants they are natural organic pest control and brings in pollinators! The summer outfits looked very pretty on you and the coveralls are great to wear around doing garden work! That arch was such a find, and for free! Everything looks great! Love the fence panels for the trash cans. Sometimes it’s the very simplest things that can make such a difference! I definitely would have snatched up that ironstone soap dish. They are so hard to find! I found one just a few weeks ago but it isn’t near as pretty as the one you showed us.
