    There's 3 things I don't cheap out on, my tires, my women, and my excavators.

    Actually, Briggs and Stratton relocated their engine manufacturing to China in order to remain in business (according to the video I watched on their Chinese factory).

    So I just watched the video. Looked like the thumb gets in the way. Can the thumb fold back flat out of the way for digging under its own hydraulic power or does it need to be removed?

      He told at the beginning that it has 3 starting positions and the highest gets it out of the way

    • @ifyoutip

      @@chaseledbetter5186 ya, but looking at it I see it actually doesn't get it out of the way with just the three manual positions. But I bet I could make one hydraulic that would work. Could plumb it into the aux hyd ports where a auger or hammer would be connected. I do know the newer bigger groundhog ones with hydraulic thumbs do get out of the way better. Not quite flat like a JD but pretty good.

      @@ifyoutip the one shown is hydraulic and when it is retracted back all the way it allows for appropriate digging. It may stick out a little bit but it won't hinder the performance of the machine or digging operation if you are familiar with your machine and how to dig properly.

    Could you demonstrate it digging on say a 20 degree slope? Would prefer getting one of these instead of the nortrac 15 towable backhoe. Thanks for the demonstration. It certainly has enough flow. What is gpm on the pump. Single or dual stage?

    Blade needs to be at the back to help with digging stability

      @schunts09 Před rokem +1

      Could just spin it around when digging so blade is at the rear

      Obviously you've never ran a mini excavator. Always dig over blade.blade in front.

    Deff need to go back to the drawing board on the hydraulics. To much pressure or GPM for a few of those functions. I wanted to buy one of these But I new these were to good to be true. That being said if you widen the track width and fix the hydraulics these could be a great machine for the price.

      I agree, but I'm not sure if it's the machine or the operator

    • @ifyoutip
      @ifyoutip Před 2 lety +2

      The bigger and heavier the machine the smoother they operate. These are light little mini things so it probably acceptable but I agree. I'd probably run it 3/4 throttle
