This recap made me realize just how much this franchise is trying to sell more toys than actually making a genuine, well written, in-depth story. It has so many plot holes, time skip, pararel universe/timeline, etc which at times makes me think "well that just came outta nowhere, but ok" and knowing that, i still love Ninjago and it always be my childhood, nice recap.
Eh. Beg to differ. I agree it has a lot of issues, but by comparison to MOST shows these days which only care about pursuing political agendas.
I'd say Ninjago is still good. Besides have you seen Half of the Reboot Shows these days??

I feel like the most annoying thing is when they learn a new form a spinjitzu or something then when they have a problem in the next season which could be fixed with that power they totally forget. Or like all the dragons they have.

I'm getting emotional realising how intrinsically linked more than half of my life has been with Ninjago. I tried to shrug off my cringey, Zane-obsessed tween self many years ago, and only watched the occasional episode as a guilty pleasure, but I've since realised that I do love Ninjago, and always will ❤💙🖤🤍💚

One major plothole in march of the oni(season 10) is that lloyd holds the golden armor forged from the golden weapons wich cannot be held by anyone or they will be destroyed
I think there was an explanation. It was something like almost all the power was drained from it when Zane defeated the overlord so it doesn’t actually do anything but repel onis and I think was was confirmed in Crystalized when wu said that the golden wepons had no powers. So no not a plot hole

I came to know about ninjago in late 2014. Started watching it on 2018. Even tho it's been only four years, the amazing fandom and the show make it feel like I've been around since 2011. Plus, ninjago changed me, as a kid from wanting to be a ninja, to actually becoming a person whose life has literally become following the morals of the show, in a crazy way. I'm so glad this show became a part of my life

Finally I fell off during rebooted and came back for the tournament of elements but didn't finish it. My lil bro watched every episode over the summer and I was watching this new season with him the other day and he was trying to explain EVERYTHING thats happened since I stopped watching. Needless to say I needed this😂
I’m 15 and I still love Ninjago. Go ahead and make fun of me if you want, but this masterpiece of a show will always have a special place in my heart. I grew up watching this.

@@herotrapinch9232 Season 4 had Kai as the focus in the most episodes and he had the most investment in the story due to the whole thing with Skylor and the plot twist being Chen’s daughter would impact him the most out of the whole team. Sheesh he’s even the *official mascot for the season!* Though I will admit that not every mascot character ends up the main character.

imo it is very in character for cole to be the one to try to form the team back together, he’s always been one of the more responsible of the group and was the original leader. also it doesn’t mean he wasn’t grieving, he just knew someone had to step up and do something about the vengestone

Something that really bothered me about the march of the oni season is that the golden armour was supposed to be so powerful noone but the overlord could tuch it without dying. But then all of a sudden in March of the oni anyone can just hold it without anything happening at all.

As a die hard ninjago fan I freaking loved this. The series has an insane amount of plotholes and irrelevant storylines and random power ups but I still love it and I always will XD
This makes me feel super old knowing I was only 4 when the pilot episodes came out it went from ninja saving Kai’s sister to now a god like figure taking over everything that seems impossible to beat,times have changed and it’s crazy over 12 years how much has happened

the biggest takeaway from this is that CLUTCH POWERS IS ALIVE BABYYYY
Ninjago is an enjoyable show, and there is a reason it lasted longer than nexo knights and chima. The presentation. The concept. Nexo Knights is a cool concept that was just executed poorly. It was to much of a product and not enough of a show. Chima ha d the opposite effect. It didn't sell toys or it's ideas. Ninjago is a Corporate dream when it comes to lego franchises. It changes things up, has fun characters and decent writing as well as something to be excited for. Out loud it's honestly pure ridiculousness but i still love it even at age 19. It never gets old, my nostalgia is sharp for this thing

Personally I stopped watching Ninjago after Season 6 (Skybound), Hands of Time didn't click for me anymore, yet I can't stop thanking the creators that made this series, it's my entire childhood

i don't know why I would expect you to include the video game Shadow of Ronin, but I somehow did.
anyways, in that game we get the first introduction to Ronin and he steals the ninjas memories. We briefly learn that Ronin is the reason Zane got to Chens Island in the first place and that Ronin had taken up a job for someone presumably dead(I honestly don't know) but gets defeated on a big rock formation(not quite sure what that was) that somehow looks like Samukai the skeleton dude.
Shadow of ronin👌 my reason to buy ps vita at 2015 i was 15 at the time and game were my guilty pleasure since i wanted to go with "cool kids stream". And crystalised was so awesome season gave me goosebums and jay still got me laughing😂 this has been great adventure
11 years. 11 Years of a great series. The most powerful scene for me was Zane's defeat of the golden master. This show never seased to give me a sense of hope and joy. I was 10 when it first game out and even as an adult I loved watching this show. I had some issues, but who doesn't with a show they love. Each member had a moment they were willing to sacrifice everything for the others.
LLoyd: many a times did he sacrifice. He gave up his childhood, his fight against his father on many occasions. And the series finally he almost gave up his humanity for the dark powers of the Oni to stop the crystal emperor/ Overlord.
Kai: choosing to save those he does not care for over the needed item to stop the season's big bad.
Nya: giving up her humanity to stop the sea serpent wojira
Zane: against the golden master Knowing if he fought him, he would be destroyed.
Jay: against nadakhan. Putting away all his desires, all of the riches he had gotten. All for the sake of bringing his love back to life.
Cole: Willing to sacrifice himself so the gang could get the needed information of flight.
I do not expect everyone to agree with these listings, but to me. These are all great selfless acts of sacrifice.
That's something I liked about the show.
Possession and Tournament of elements are the best seasons

Who else thought that when Lloyd washed Kai’s and Zanes suits and Zane became “The Pink Ninja” was the best thing ever (until the movie ruined that)
When I first watched it I thought Lloyd was a brat with no redeeming qualities
