This is a Christian song. Angelina is singing to God.
Angelina was just a couple of weeks from her sixteenth birthday during this concert.

People make so much fuss over,”Christmas holiday,” yet fail to recognize the life and more importantly the death of Christ.
I’ve got to say it feels like Angelina understands how important that history is.
I understand your cretic of AJs pronouncing words incompletely. Sometimes words and phrases don’t a-line with the timing of the music. To me it takes nothing away from the message and beauty of Angelinas amazing vocals.
Hard for me to imagine that perfect pronunciation would make it any better.
    ❤❤❤😊

This is the same soundtrack as Lauren's official recording. You may want to check that to see if you hear the same sound.

Angelina doesn’t always pronounce the ending of words on purpose as it enables her to empathise more emotion and feeling into her vocals, she is a master of voice control and runs and it takes more skill and breath control to sing the lower notes, ask any vocal coach why she doesn’t always end the words,so your comment is irrelevant???

When she doesnt finish the end of the word is a singing style she uses alot. It makes the song more emotional. its just a singing style. And English isnt her first language either. FYI

We fans love her pronunciation this is one of her best vocal performances , take away her individual vocal style no thanks , if I want to hear crystal clear vocals / annunciation i will choose to listen to musical theatre artist . angelinas roots are in jazz her major influence is billie holiday and other such as etta James , Ella Fitzgerald , louis armstrong , do you understand ?

I appreciate your honesty. Of course she was marvelous but the issue of enunciation is something that has followed her and the explanation flows in several directions. 1. English is not her native language. 2. Her jazz influence dictates that kind of a performance and when she cuts a word short it is intentional. 3. There are certain video's which show her articulation to such a beautiful degree it is almost unbelievable. As a young girl(11 or 12 I think), she sang a song for Nico Cartosio on his new album, 'Song For A', and he put the words of Robert Burns, the poet from hundreds of years ago, to music and, believe me, you will be stunned when you listen to her sing. So, it's a mixed bag and I will say this, I agree with you 100%. To me, something is lost if I don't clearly hear each word. She is so talented she will not lose any emotional effect by singing the full word. As far as I can see, this will continue and her mixed approach will vary from song to song.

Very well said. But, this song is so exceptionally well done I just can't bring myself to complain. After all, it was a bonus performance at the end of her show and I feel it would be really tacky of me to quibble over such a gift. 😊😊

Shan, I agree completely. But he raised the issue so I was just trying to explain to him what was going on. Her performance was beautiful beyond words. @@ShanLiB

@@RobertDeMartin Yeah no doubt she can, and has, as you mentioned, so it's generally a choice. I say generally, because her annunciation in general, or mine, or most people, I'm sure once in a while she is a bit tongue tied. But for choices, I mean this very easy song to interpret, and very easy song to move people with. Perfect fit for our jazz queen to choose cursive singing here, of any song, and move us. Not going to lie, this one blows me away to a ridiculous extent, and most of her best covers so far she went the cursive route of not prioritizing annunciation. There must be something to it. A duality at worst I'd say, give and take. Can't imagine ever on this song that anyone could interpret though, you lose nothing, only gain. But that is you know, IMO.

@@RobertDeMartin You did a really great job of explaining that to him, and to anyone else who may have been thinking it but not saying it (like me).

@@RobertDeMartinFor the life of me I don't have any problem at all with this performance as to her annunciation , imo it's one of her best vocal performances from angelina this is why I love her so much performances and annunciation like this . there's other performances were im not as keen on her change in the use of her voice / inflections / delivery, but absolutely not this performance i would be more than happy to hear this vocal style on future performances . i don't expect or require from angelina crystal clear vocals / annunciation , i can listen to musical theatre artists for that .
