Thank You for testing. Many reviewers were saying, this car is just for city, but your highway test showed, it is pretty good on highways too.

Vehicule consomme environ 8 litres sur autoroute a 130 km heures. Attention au gros rouleur

would this make for a good first car?

If I were you, I would buy a really cheap car just to get some experience driving through the city and then buy this car, because in the first few months you will want to drive "fast" so with the cheap car you will not have the same problem if you wreck it, you learn better if you don't care hitting it. Cheers

Do you think paying extra for 2.0 worth it?

For me no. 1.8 is a well known engine, and it has good opinions. Users dont have any problems with this engine. 2.0 is a new one, and we dont know what will happen. 1.8 is more simple than 2.0. 2.0 is better by performance

      For me, no.
1.8 is a bulletproof engine, also with a 2.0 your milage will go down quite a lot.

Here in Croatia difference in price between 1.8 and 2.0 is small (around 1500€). I saw many tests and everyone said that 2.0 is much better choice and better fits this type of car.
If you drive only in the city go for 1.8. And if you drive often on highway go for 2.0
