The rental agency rented me one of these C-HR's...... And I was totally lost on how to operate this car. The difference in technology between 2013 and 2024 is like night and day! Thanks! You can use the arrows on steering wheel to go to the leaf menu then go up or down to find digi speed
Ugh. 2022 still have to fight the menu to change drive mode. Fixed mine. Now it stays in any mode a want with a switch. All lights are LED, including the mirror turn signal. (coutesey of LASFIT).
Can you explain the different B/n drive, Eco and Sport mode?
And also how can shift to different mode( mean what key should we use to change different mode)
Eco mode less power more mpg
Normal mode is in the middle
Sport mode more power less mpg
You can change modes while driving or stationary

If you push the auto window up button and hit the windows before it reaches the top. The window will go back down. Nice safety feature

Is there any way to lock the car while still on if you step out of it for a few minutes. I always find myself having to turn of off to lock
No because that could be deemed that a safety issue

Depends. If you adjust your mirrors right, the blind spot gets a lot smaller. I suggest a model with BSM if you’re concerned. That’s a nice side kick that helps

Sorry to hear you’re having the issue. I’m not to sure on this one sorry. The button could be worn out prematurely.
i just bought 2019 chr the seller never mention about 2019 model doesnt have voice recognition or navigation available so been scammed but the button are there idk why is not available
Does the CH-R Nightshade come with a auto-restart disable button, or is it buried in a menu somewhere? The salesperson was oblivious to this.
Are you referring to the auto start stop (engine shuts off at red lights) cancel button?
@@brianruperti Yes. Can’t find much information about it online. When we test drove, it didn’t seem to actually do the auto stop, but I know there are circumstances where it may not kick in, so I like to have the disable option available.
@@paulnewhart4838 Been a while since I worked with a CHR. I’ve driven in them a lot. Taken trips too and not once has it even engaged in the feature. I’m not so sure it even has the feature. If it does, it would 100% have the disable option. All Toyotas with the feature have a disable option.
If the CHR has it, there is not a dedicated button for it, it would be in the MID settings menu.
Might I suggest googling a PDF of the CHR user guide to see if it’s in there. If it’s not in this tutorial (which it’s not) then I’m pretty sure it doesn’t even have the feature. But I could be wrong!

That’s the range which means estimated miles left on the tank.
What about the buton to open the trunks when you are inside of the car ?
You have to unlock the doors, exit the car, and grab the handle outside the trunk to open it.

its is normal to toyota chr, when uphill its kinda strugling?
That’s all subject to the drivers opinion if you’re concerned about the car struggling you may want to bring it to service
What does Sync button mean in the mid console?
It synchronizes the dual climate control to match the drivers so you can adjust both sides from only the drivers temperature nob

Yes, 100%! Experienced it just last week.... I was looking away towards the oncoming traffic, was to late to see the car infront if me came to a dead stop... wel my CHR stopped about 10 cm away from the front car... and did most if the breaking itself....
In cruise if someone cuts you off it will apply the breaks and all you have to do is hold the wheel.

The auto main beams position is the opposite of the Yaris?
I don’t know the Yaris position sorry haven’t seen one in years
The new Yaris operates auto main beams in the dip position. As of tomorrow we will have one of each, my wife's Yaris and a new CH-R.
I've now got one of each, Yaris and C-HR. They do auto main beams in different positions. The C-HR makes more sense, auto beams is in the main beams position, so in dipped beams position, you know you won't dazzle anyone. Overriding main beams on the Yaris is more tricky, a flick of the lever forces dipped beam but only for a while. Strange that they aren't consistent across the range of models.

What do you mean by speed cameras? The Toyota has one camera for the safety sense. You can adjust that in the settings.

I bought a new 2018 CHR with all the recomended scheduled services . Now with only 60.000 plus miles needs a Transmission it’s costing me $8900 To fix.🤬. My opinion don’t buy this Crap car.
