Abstract Watercolor Demonstration | Simple Minimalist Painting Idea

Here is an idea for simple abstract watercolor paintings. The colors I have used are outlined below but you can experiment with your own colors!. I found this technique quite relaxing and satisfying!. I tested out my colors beforehand and then experimented with combining them. You can leave each layer to dry or see what happens if you layer them on while still slightly wet. I used a blending medium but some of the colors worked with the squeegee using just water.

- Archers Cold Pressed Fine Grain Paper.
- Winsor and Newton watercolours: Phythalo Turquoise, Cobalt Blue
- Schminkle Aqua Drops: Ruby Red, Magenta
- Watercolour brush and squeegee
- Winsor and Newton Blending Medium.
