It's cool they are adding deadzone. They could try fixing the sensetivity settings for xbox as I've mentioned numerous times. The bar slid all the way on is the same as the bar all the way down. Sensetivity doesn't actually change. Never has since they introduced it for xbox one players. Do they even know?

Briefcase is probably going to have whatever access to the bunker and power plant in it, that's the best guess similar to Livonia's punch card hunt from convoys and gas zones
The bunker door sounds as heavy as a fallout vault enterance door and the sound of the generator with the lamp+ventilation sounds and picturing what it would look like walking in those tunnels is giving me the chills

@@panzer00 it will be a deliberate choice not to focus on it - Arma 3 devs mentioned it took a _lot_ of work to make it happen, and Arma reforger hasnt had it added yet either. I bet they're using their manpower wisely to not focus on something that will require a crazy amount of work to make it work good

3:28 the glass bottle has been in the game for a long while now, like at least a few years. I saw them on community console servers and when spawned they do contain vodka. I believe early on it gave a slight warming effect but was removed but it still said vodka but acted like water or the beer. It could in this update actually give a slight warmth effect because of the alcohol but i guess we’ll see
This is true also people forget that Rabbits are just being added to the game after they were removed and reworked along with many other things in the game that we've gotten the last few years
@@tehtapemonkey dead zones are a setting that allows the game engine to ignore the lowest input threshold or to set the threshold of what is considered a registered base input. The main reason it exists is for sensor calibration or to help solve stickdrick especially with potentiometer based console controllers.
@@Shoes_Gone i also stopped playing just because everything to see in DayZ was seen too many times but i will buy the frostline expansion to check it out and have a few adventures before most likely stopping again until something new and exciting comes out.

It's still probably my favorite game of all time and was definitely the most hours I've ever put into a single game, but I wish they had leaned more into the simulator aspect of the OG Mod/pre-0.63 days and less the gamey/console side, but I guess Bohemia has gotta keep the lights on.

But those reasons are pushing me to get a pc. After over 3.5k hours of Xbox dayz I’m just burnt out of it. Pc has so much variety and options. Most community servers on console are just money grabs with “custom bases” with loadouts you can buy and all sorts of stuff. One server I played you could pay $50 usd for one weekend of raid protection meaning no one can raid you… the game just feels so off on console. And official has a whole different set of quirks.

Heres my theory for the warhead. Youll need to first, find the scientists briefcase. Then, turn on the power in the bunker to a specific area (may also be a few locations in a particular order) This will then allow you to access that big door in the sound files (possibly with a keycard like the livonia bunker) You can then enter a launch room and launch the missile at a place of interest specified by research papers from the briefcase, which would also have launch keys (documents and fragile items)
"Land_WarheadStorage_Powerstation" has the exact same syntax used for building models. I think it's pretty obvious that this is the name of some upcoming building and not some kind of actual warhead (hopefully)
I think in all likelihood it's probably a module for the bunker that's designed to store warheads - probably empty or full of inert/deactivated warheads, or potentially a model for a warhead storage box, think the pox storage boxes in the livonia bunker, but most likely open and empty
i love this game so much. i have had the game almost since launch and i never get tired of it. i have never played another game like dayz and cant wait to see how crazy this game will get in the coming years

This is shaping to be an excellent looking DLC. Many of the PC players were pissed off about Livonia being made free, along with a paid version of all the things mods offered, but all of these additions and this new content and map are looking amazing.
devs are late, redfalcon has gotten this exact method with boats down, and you can actually stand and shoot from them whilst riding... not to mention his helicopters.

Except they're still alowing peoole to do base raid glitches, the cars aren't even close to fixed, the game itself is too laggy in majority of servers, and they can't even fix basic bugs that they have created from all the previous updates. They need to do their job
I've always loved being an indigenous type of player. I live out of the woods. A snow map, accompanied by camos to fit the environment. I'm digging it.
One thing I severely dislike is the Gorka being so low on insulation. I own a Gorka uniform and that thing is surprisingly weird honestly due to the fact that I never get super hot in even 90 degree weather but in 30 degree weather it REALLY helps against the cold.

The Glass bottle is needed for a Molotov cocktail. No Infected survival without. Especially, when there is allready gasoline and liquid pouring in the DayZ world. The fire animations/light look good already in the game, wonder how a burning fluid will be animated. In the case i am right...
LOL, Warhead - ARMA had a nuclear warhead (technically was part of Operation Flashpoint Resistance and I Think Red Hammer as well). They were added to ARMA 1 and the mod carried over to ARMA 2 and 3.
IRL, geyser steam ruins camera lenses - it'd be really cool if it did this to scopes. (The silica binds to the glass and is hard to remove unless wiped off quickly.)
