Brilliant journal! You always come up with such wonderful journal ideas.
Love you created the journal with file folders, which I have more than my fair share of since recently cleaning out old paper work. I wasn’t sure what to do with all of them. This looks like an excellent way to recycle the old file folders into something beautiful. No one will ever know they are recycled.

Another fantastic tutorial and creative journal idea. I haven’t used a file folder yet so this will be fun. I just love pink and these papers are so lovely. I’m so happy the math will be easier on this one since I’m US letter size. I’m so enjoying the journaling JOY series, I’m learning so much from you!

Great idea, Amanda! I will have to get the file folders ... price has gone up but, as you say, there are 100 in a box ... that's a lot of journals! Your instrucstions are always clear, & I enjoy your videos so much. Hugs from Ireland.

I love the design! I use 2 glued together and cover with fabric.
Yeah that would be great for just a cover but maybe a little stiff to fold how I have on this design x

EXCELLENT TUTORIAL-especially for me in the USA who seems to have the hardest time converting from A4 to US Letter! Math sometimes gets the best of me. But these lovely journals are making me more relaxed about “going for it”. I really appreciate you taking everyone’s ability into consideration, it’s just like you 😊. Thank you for the nice treat of any “easy” one this month. With so much going on this time of year, it’s a wonderful choice of cover. It is so beautiful, love the design of the pages and the journal. I look forward to the challenges and beauty that you present monthly. Keeps my old brain cells going! I can’t wait every month to see your tutorials containing such gems! Lovely gifts! 😊. I would think that it would be easier to attach the paper to the cover before gluing the pockets. Did you do it that way and only made this cover with the pockets glued down as a demonstration? I'm not an experienced journal maker so I'll be asking dumb questions. I haven't made any of the other JOY journals yet. I'm still "practicing" on smaller projects.
correct .. I laid the paper down first then glued the pockets and yes this was just for demo purposes. This is how it should always be done unless the pockets have flaps for gluing.. If they have flaps you can lay the paper after as it will slide in. And you ask as many questions as you like I am more than happy to answer them x
