The thing I don’t get is I always closed my eyes and I was in love with my sweet husband until he passed away too soon. It’s been a year and I realize I will die a widow because no one could ever fill his shoes. I live with such wonderful memories of our 57 years together. It comforts my heart to know, he will always be near watching over me. Of course it’s impossible to know until you make your journey there, but if it’s possible I know my sweet Sammy is watching over and praying for me🙏

its May 2023 and this song has such more meaning now at the age of 53 then it did at 18 but still brings all the emotions it did as an 18 yro young man getting over his first true love,I believe there are people put on this earth for special reasons such as someone like him to leave something that will last forever.
