Yes!! My hair has been EXTREMELY prone to being over moisturized the last couple of months (I'm in FL - but I still used to have dry-ish hair in summer, but not anymore!). I was really struggling until I finally got it - no leave in, then the feather light protein cream with a tiny bit of air dry cream mixed into it, followed by their strengthening foam & shape up gel! Gives me great curls for 4 days straight, with only a dry refresh (the one you explained by Marissa is what live always called a dry refresh) on face framing pieces if needed. I end up washing on day 4 (if I don't wash twice a week, I get tangles & an itchy scalp)....but my day 4 hair still looks great & it sucks to wash out the curls! 😒😣

THANK YOU!! 👏🙌👏🙌👏So last night was a wash day for me, and I tried some new stylers for the 1st time. I wasn't happy with the results, it looked stringy and less curly than usual. I slept in my cast like always, and I usually leave the cast for that whole next day, but this was awful, so I scrunched it out with my fav serum & then figured I'd try the "scrunch it out with a hold product" hack cuz I had nothing to lose AT ALL. On a whim I grabbed a mousse and braced myself for a sticky mess and scrunched it into my dry hair. And...oh... my.....GOD! Not stringy anymore, it's soft, shiny, voluminous & over all MUCH better! I can't believe this actually worked!!! It even put my usual spirals back in some sections! 99% of hair hacks & fads that work on others never work on me, until now! BEST TIP EVER!!!! 💜💜😍😻

For swimming putting conditioner in before swimming helps protect the pool water from saturating hair with nasties. At least make sure your hair is soaking wet with non-chlorinated water before diving in. If you have ling enough hair a braid or bun helps keep it protected as well.

🙋 Made the mistake of using a steamer in FL. I had never tried it & saw great results on everyone... Me, not so much. Awful. Hideous.
Yeah humidity cannot fix the problems that humidity causes 🤣 I think most of us have learned that the hard way!
