colin conveys emotions so efficiently and makes me feel whatever he feels. this movie affected me way too much and i feel weird. i'm still fascinated at how he can seemingly jump in and out of a role like that and being "normal" as he seems to be here

It was the same for me, the dialogue was just so well done. Seen it four times now and it never gets old.
Everyone seems to say this film is a comedy. I don't see any tbh, even if there is it's like 1% or 2%. To me it's dark & straight up drama

In my estimation, the film portrays an organized, clean, developed, yet extremely rigid society on moral and behavioral standards. The existence of an autocratic state isn't clearly perceived. The oppressive system is diluted, in the film, in the figure of manipulative bureaucrats, who act inside a hotel as omnipotent deities. Such leaders are always willing to reward and applaud the most obedient and severely punish anyone who violates the imposed rules. In order to control the destinies of society and to ensure the perpetuation of the dominant power, personal relationships are cold, psychologically and physically violent, and therefore disturbing and frightening.

I still want to make Colin Farrell happy. in a lot of ways....which I will leave open to his imagination for now. I want to do everything with this awesome cool guy, Colin and if there is...ever a good relationship between us and a good reason to get married ever...I can see myself living my dream finally....with him. I have finally found someone where I want to participate actually and do something to please this man.. and it is THIS ONE guy who can make me happy by letting me.
