I love when actors are very laid back about their talent and don't take themselves seriously. Colin was very quick to acknowledge and poke fun of his bad hair and acting follies. It just makes him that much prettier...and likeable :)

I enjoyed and rate the film Alexander, i can tell you now that i've seen worse films.
I always laugh at people who go like (for example in Alexander the Great) "he shouldn't have had an Irish accent". Oh yeah? Well I'm pretty sure he shouldn't have spoken English either but here we are.

If you consider how black his hair actually is, his hair in Alexander wasn't bad at all. It must have been a nightmare to the hairdresser and it's a great job honestly.

The battles,character development, etc. It's become a favorite. This nearly 4 hour epic, was ruined due to editing. I ADORE a eell done, long film.

TrueMedia The plot wasn't awful. It was mostly based on history and the Mary Renault trilogy (I'm not saying everything is historically accurate. It is a drama film after all). All the actors are quite successful and well known, so they couldn't have been that bad. The sets were amazing. And the accent part was funny, but I find it endearing. However, those are just my personal opinions. No movie is perfect after all. And this one has many versions. The 2nd one (first on DVD), the director cut (although it was more a producer's cut) is the worst. Still, I just don't think that it deserved such a backlash.
