    In prehistoric times there actually existed giant Fossas the size of leapards in Madagscar and they hunted gorilla-sized lemurs.

      Not shocked actually. Gigantopithicus was basically the giant Orangutan, and basically every animal in the mainlands of the world have shrunk overtime in general.

    2:18 The okapi is the only other member of the giraffe family that is still alive they only live in the rainforests in northeastern part of The Democratic Republic of the Congo it’s also known as the zebra giraffe the forest giraffe and the African unicorn because it’s so rare that the Europeans thought they were fake

      Isn't there a giraffe relative in North America?

    • @tobiasedwards2643
      @tobiasedwards2643 Před 11 měsíci +2

      @@brigidtheirish Yes, it’s the pronghorn but it’s not a member of the Giraffidae family. The pronghorn is a more distant relative to the giraffe and okapi.

    The Okapi isnt a crossbreed of anything. Its the only true other relative alive 8n the Giraffe family. They'res a cousin species or two out there. But the Okapi is the closest relative species to the giraffe that isnt extinct

    Yeah cloud leopards sound like a baby because one of the main prey species they hunt is the pied tamarin and that baby sounding call is them mimicking the call of a baby tamarin baby just so they can kill the parent
